Idk I like it, still very park like. If shaded properly, could be a nice plan to walk around.
When you compare the two pieces of artwork, the new version does at least make more visual sense in terms of its layout and symmetry. In fairness, they weren't present in the original art either:

Compared to today's new Art:

That's because of how much it reverts back to what was there before the walls went up.When you compare the two pieces of artwork, the new version does at least make more visual sense in terms of its layout and symmetry.
It was decided that it would take too long and be too disruptive to bring the tacos out every day. That's a good point...
It's possible that transporting the barges and stargate was also an original possibility.
The daytime fountains might have been what they needed to justify it's permanent mounting, but that didn't work out as planned either.
Maybe @marni1971 could shed some light...
Sounds like what EPCOT has here is a … failure … to CommunicoreAre they really bringing back the name Communicore? It looks like if they kept the original building they would not have to rebuild so much. What a waste!
I would trust the site plan over the concept artwork. Is the new Communicore Hall/Plaza actually located symmetrical to Creations? In the site plan it appears so, but in the artwork it definitely isn’t.
I know it might be minor but if it’s built and isn’t symmetrically located it will drive me insane haha.
Also, in the site plan -- what's the building north of Journey of Water?
That is the stairwell leading down to the underground service area. They completely rebuilt that area recently.
Ish. Aside from the hundreds of millions wasted on demolishing a perfectly serviceable curved building to replace it with a curved building and a splash pad whilst Imagination still rots.
Still it’s better than Bobs folly plan. Ooo look. Earth Station.
