Disappointing there is no fountain

This is my biggest beef with the design.

I think it depends on how permanent that new festival building is. If they still plan on replacing it with the coffee table at some point -- I don't mind the asymmetrical look (as much). And at this point -- it would be difficult to try and replicate the same exact design as the east building.

I didn't like the coffee table. Given that West was already demolished, this was the best idea they could have come up with.

Imagine that.

Better than what was planned. And a better tribute to the almighty mess up they made.

Poor Bob. Both of them.

Much better. I'm much happier about this than I was about the original plan, and given that they had already torn West down, this is probably almost the best that could have happened at this point (minus the lack of a fountain). But, the $$$ wasted. I just wish they had gone with the 2015 plan.

I stand by my original thoughts of what should have happened.

- Connections and Creations are fine as built - arguably a worthy update to Umbrella and Mouse Gear.

- Communicore West should have been left in place and a new ride based attraction added.

- Fountain of Nations should have remained.

- New landscaping added as currently shown in concept art.

The above would have been far less disruptive, cost the same or less, and resulted in a gain of a desperately needed ride through attraction.

As far as I know PLAY! is for the newer characters, with the fab 5 still likely to have their own place.

CommuniCore Hall will also apparently be a space for a new permanent "Mickey and Friends" meet-and-greet location.

That is hilarious! They are just rebuilding what they spent all that time and money to tear down! What a waste...

This all does look better...minus the fact that the fountain remains gone. I really hope we get some news on the Wonders of Life/PLAY building soon. And the lack of upselling fireworks viewing out of World Celebration makes me hopeful that the Harmonious barges will have a limited time stay. I'm having a hard time figuring out why the stage is located where it is though. Won't it create a massive crowd/walking through the area problem if the headliners are performing there instead of in World Showcase?

It honestly looks like Dreamer’s Point hasn’t changed much since the initial design. Apart from the Spaceship Earthstation, that elevated space has always been there with the flower beds.

If the northwest side of Communicore West was razed first, for Journey of Water, then I wonder if the southwest side would have remained intact.
