Thank you very very much Pixie Duster! Your kind words have been heard by a great many TDS cast member. I have shared them with my fellow cast members at my store. I too was a Lead until they closed our store the day after Christmas last year. That was an awful time and we only got 2 weeks notice!! I am now just a regular cast member. My love will not decrease due to the new stipulations put out by the company. It will just put a snag in our vacation plans.
I have a question for anyone out there. Do TDS cast still get their dicounts for merchandise,food, and hotels? We have been working with our DM to try and get more info but we seem to be hitting a brick wall:brick: If anyone has any info they could share I know we would all be very greatful!!

Yes, TDS still get their discounts on Merchandise, Food, and Hotels. I spoke with a CM for Disney Dining today and made reservations and she told me to just have my ID handy.
Also, I plan on using my ID until I'm told by WDW that I can't anymore.

In a typical Disney Store there are only two people that would have a Main Gate, the Assistant Manager and Store manager. Disney Store CMs and Leads do not and our pay rate is much lower than WDWs just FYI.
So once again for those that do not understand the company is a) closing a ton of stores and only giving the cast two weeks notice
b) no longer letting the CMs and Leads get into WDW or DL anymore.
It is not an easy time to be a Disney Store CM right now.
I am not 100% sure whether or not Disney Store CMs will continue to get discounts, we haven't heard anything at work about it, but who knows they could take that away as well.

Just to clerify some of the confusing terms in here for myself. If I got a job working WDW, after 3 months I would still get a "Main Gate Pass" to get me admission to the WDW parks? Is this good for anytime or are their blackouts? What about the Water Parks/DQ? I was looking forward to not having to spend the $400/yr on a PAP, but it sound like I'd still have to.
