Biergarten questions!!

My lunch rememberances of Biergarten was the entertainment was much, much lower key. Just 3 guys playing, and not the more involved show that is later on. (Of course that was years ago).

If you want dinner for the Sauerbraten, in my opinion it was quite dreadful.

Also keep in mind that you are seated with other guests (unless you have a party of eight).

One Little Spark...
I believe the band comes on around 1:30 but dont quote me on that.
This may have been mentioned already, but the band show times are posted on the Disneyworld.com website.

I used that schedule to plan my ADR (though, you probably wouldn't need one...the building is huge!)

The show is a lot of fun, and I like doing it for lunch. The food is good, but I admit I am a bit picky as I make better shpeatzle at home and I prefer veal schnitzel...they serve pork at Biergarten.

Does Biergarten have any tables for two people if you want one? Or are you required to sit at bigger tables with other parties?

No, they do not have tables for only two. You can ask for your own table, but I would not count on it. I will say that the first time we went I was kind of concerned as you are. I did not want to be seated with absolute strangers for a meal, but we have now been there dozens of times and really enjoy meeting people from as far away as New Zealand, all over Europe and of course US residents. I can't say that I have not had a bad experience when dining @ Biergarten. It is one of may favorite place to go when @ WDW. I love it.

Lunch at the Biergarten is fabulous, and stopping there for lunch or dinner has become a tradition for us. There may be a couple of additional items on the dinner menu, but you won't miss them if you're going for lunch -- there will still be ample selections on the buffet. I recommend the beer flight to go with it!

Touring Plans has the schedule for Oktoberfest Musikanten (the band). Shows currently run at 1:15pm, 2:15pm, 3:15pm, 4:45pm, etc. If you make a 12:45 or 1:00pm reservation you should be right on time to see them.

I think it depends on how interactive the crowd happens to be. We've been there for an early dinner when no one is dancing and the band played the bells and the horns. When we've gone later and there are more people on the dance floor, they play the chicken dance song and that sort of thing
