Is this only for "young" princesses or do they take "young at heart" princesses as well?

Young princesses and youthful adventurers will have more fun to look forward to in spring 2006 when the World of Disney at Downtown Disney Marketplace introduces the enchanted Bibbiddi Bobbiddi Boutique, immersive Princess Room and interactive Adventure Room. The boutique will be a magical salon that transforms little girls into their favorite Disney princess through hairstyling, make-up, and manicures. Merchandise becomes the event in the Princess Room with young guests creating, trying on, and playing dress up. In the Adventure Room, swashbucklers can build their own pirate hat or skull and sharpen their skills at the latest video games. There's gear and apparel for youthful pirates, cowboys, superheroes and space explorers.

Do you pay on the phone or is it run like a real salon. How far in advance are they taking reservations?

They secure your appointment with a credit card, but you don't have to pay in advance. It's a 24 hour cancellation policy. They take appointments 180 days in advance.

I think this is an adorable idea. I have a couple of little girl cousins that would persuade their daddy to spend lots of Disney Dollars in this store! I can't wait to check it out on my next trip. :king:

Official FAQ speil for Disney Reservation Center Cast:
Will the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique have offerings available specifically for young boys?

Nearby in The Adventure Room at World of Disney is a realm where the heroes and adventures of ages past, present, and future converge. Swashbucklers can let their individuality and creativity show by building their own pirate hat and more. Whether pirate, cowboy, superhero, or space explorer, young adventures will find gear and apparel to make their adventure a reality.

So no, Disney will not let you off the hook if you have a boy!

You're just burstin' peoples' bubbles all over today, aren't you?

I'm more than happy to spend money on the boy at Disney. Less than 20 hours until the next time we set foot on property to do just that :sohappy:

I was just grateful more than anything else that he's not currently into the makeup and manicure... At least for now :lookaroun

I'm just curious...

I see the price is $175+...that little "+" at the end has me a little worried.
What exactly do you get for the minimum $175...and what does the "+" entitle?

In my mind...a princess outfit...is the dress, the tiara, the wand, and the shoes. Does the $175 price include these things or is it just the dress?

I'm only wondering because it may come out cheaper to buy the "costume" ahead of time...or separately and just go for the cheaper package.

OK now this place sounds awsome!!! Does anyone know if the fairy godmothers who work there are licensed cosmetologists? I guess that they do not cut hair, but they do style the hair and do manicures. Sounds like a really fun place to work hmmmmmm.......:sohappy:

I'm sure my sister will want to visit...grrr

But she wants to be Mulan. She has the dress, but I'm assuming makeup and accessories arent provided here? If not, where can she get a wig and stuff?
Thanks

This boutique sounds like that little girl store in the mall where I walk past it and almost pass out from the sickly sweet scent of body glitter!!!

Run for your lives!

Actually, I don't know about the situation in America, but here in Angleterre we have Claire's Accessories. This used to be notorious for spewing out all things pink, fluffy and glittery. But now it has move to promoting little things called mini-moshers. These are little girls, with no real taste in rock, metal or even Indie wishing to appear to be a 'rocker' by sporting black sweat bands with guitars on or skull necklaces.
Now that makes me sick...
