Okay - so I did a search - saw some people announcing it - but didn't see the final details... so here they are:

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Downtown Disney® is owned by the Fairy Godmother herself and is operated by Fairy Godmothers-in-training. At the boutique, pampering, primping and princess wishes are at your fingertips. Whether it's a total makeover, from the top of your tiara to the tips of your slippers, you are sure to feel like a Princess when you leave.
All Princesses, ages 3 and up, are welcome.
To make an appointment, call 407-WDW-STYLE (7895). Reservations are now being accepted for appointments starting in April 2006.

The Boutique offers three unique packages, all with a Princess twist:

It's important to note the castle package is $175+. That's the cheapest price. Price rises depending on which princess options are chosen (dress, tiara, etc.).

yep - and how old you are... the 3 year old costumes are much less expensive than the adult costumes... ;) Which by the way - if I see any of you ladies doing the castle option - I have to say... I might laugh... :animwink:

LOL!

It will be interesting to see how this works out for my daughter. She has an appointment next month for the crown package. Then it's dinner at the castle! I wish I could get a crown for me :king:

I just can't see how $175 is worth it for the Castle package. My DD is 4, so even if we got her everything - the dress, shoes, crown, wand, jewelry - how can that be what makes the difference between the Crown and the Castle packages? I know the Castle package includes photography also, but I don't need that. I plan to take plenty of pictures, and we are going to have lunch at the Castle right away so we'll have photos taken there. Can anyone tell me what would make this package worth it?

personally, I agree, however - some families don't like the "do it yourself" method - they'd rather book and pay for everything in advance (the same families that purchase the premium package where B,L,D, snacks, child care, tours and cirque are all included - as if they could ever even begin to use all that... ) But again, that's just a personal opinion. I've booked the premium package, and the Castle package for clients - both are for those that want the no hassel vacation - not neccessarily the $$ saving vacation...

I don't think it's very difficult to take your own pictures - book a less expensive package and buy a costume... but that's just me... the money saving gal... :D

To tell you all the truth, my wife is pretty excited abou the BBB. Since she's a huge kid at heart, I called to inquire and YES, as the info says, "princesses 3 and up", meaning they do accept adults for makeovers. They downright expect it.
