Best week in October

I was just wondering when the best week in October is to visit the World...

I'm sure around Columbus Day it's crowded and Halloween is probably very busy too. I was just curious as it seems, in the past, it's been hit or miss when we go.

I have the opportunity to grab a timeshare for a week (for nothing) but I need to tell them what week I want to go by the end of this week.

Wasn't that awesome! We saved up all our snacks and to say the least rolled out of Epcot! It was great.

It's a good thing that WDW provides transportation!!!

We honeymooned from 10/9 - 10/17 in '05 and the crowds were pretty low. The weather was great and the wait times were manageable. MNSSHP was a BLAST and the night we did it there weren't crowds at all. It was so much fun!

We've never done MNSSHP before.I'm excited!

We're surprising the kids with a WDW trip in Oct.

MNSSHP is so much fun. If your kids can do it, IMHO you should try and catch the late parade and hit the rides during the early parade. We hit Pirates 4 times and never had to get off the boat.

Goofy's Candy Company Trick or Treat Stations are a hoot. If I remember there are about 13 Stations. At some spots you will see withing 1 Station there are 3 or 4 candy sub-stations with character meet and greets and all. My DH2B and I had two fully loaded bags of really good candy. (We are food junkies :lookaroun) You are going to have a fabalous time.

Thanks! We've done MVMCP and P&P and we loved them! MNSSHP sounds like alot of fun. My daughter is a big fan of candy, she's going to be in heaven. :lol:

Hi we were there this past oct. the 2nd week the week of columbus day. And the crowds were not bad at all more than I thought would be but, not bad at all seemed like alot of people in the parks but lines were not bad longest wait was proble 20-25 min. And that was not for any of the mt.s but for the cars? go figures. and we problely waited for 45 mins. for turtle talk. Our kids here have the last 2 days of the columbus day week off in Pa. . And I talked to some other parents when waiting in line and Taxus schools have the hole week off for a fall brake. So If it did not matter to you I bet the next week would even be better.
