What is (in your opinion) the best WDW resort? Why? I've stayed at Caribbean Beach twice and Pop Century twice, looking to explore different options!!!

i love poly becuase it reminds me of hawaii9 their luau is alot better then many i ve seen hawaii, but don ho was always the best
grand floridian has a charm to it
the board walk is fun

My favorites(of the ones I have stayed at) in order are:
1. Wilderness Lodge- Awe inspiringly well themed, and very comfortable. More of a highriser so you can just take elevators and there isn't a whole lot of walking that needs to be done
2. Port Orleans French Quarter: Pretty cool theme. Good Pool. Pretty small compared to the other moderate resorts so not much walking anywhere you are.
3. Caribbean Beach: Very well themed. Can be a bit large(I did go there when I was really young though)
4. All Star Movies: Cool theme. It didn't feel quite as disney to me when I stayed there(the people next to me were a bit loud a few nights), but it is still a really neat resort

I'm gonna vouch for the All Star Resorts, specifically Music. While not the most luxurious, the people there are generally extremely enthusiastic about their holiday, and the resorts feel more "Disney" than any other. Why Music? Better layout, favourable bus situation (when I went there, Sport and Movies often shared while Music got its own bus) and the Summer pool entertainment exclusive to Music. Not to mention it seems the quieter of the three, with all the Pop Warner crowd at Sport or Movies.

Parrothead & Disney Fanatic.
I'd have to say Port Orleans French Quarter if you like to stay on property, due to it's size ,features (like a marina) and boat rides to DTD.I was just there and had a great time.We also liked the Best Western Lake Buena Vista, (DTD area). POP was nice too but a little too big and had too much walking.

The Polyneisan Is The Best By far

Ohana's MOnorail ride to Magic Kingdom
TTC Right next door

Wilderness Lodge. We love the theming, and love the boat ride to the MK. The atmosphere is just so peacful and relaxing. The lobby is breathtaking.

We love the two restaurants....Whispering Canyon Cafe and Artist Point.
It is also the least expensive of the Deluxe resorts.

We never want to stay anywhere else!

I must agree with the post above. I love all star movies, however music does have better rooms, quieter and they do have pool parties for the kids. At the party they play music, have kareokee, dance contest and then they watch a movie. My kids had a blast there.

Definitely the contemporary. The atmosphere is so nice, its on the monorail, and it has two of my favorite places to eat (Chef Mickey's and the California Grill). Plus the views are so nice. The renovations will make it even better.

I have stayed in most of the hotels on property. I would have to say my three favorite in order are the poly, wilderness lodge and the beach club.

Port Orleans French Quarter for me, I almost always stay here. Although one of these trips I really want to try the Poly. I almost went to the Grand Floridian last year but I didn't like the look of it. Reminded me too much of a little bed and breakfast and I am not a big fan of those places.

Am I the only person here who thinks AKL is fantastic?!? It's my current fave, though I do love the Polynesian (and think both POR and POFQ are great moderates). I've never been to the WL but have dinner reservations at AP for our upcoming stay. Looking forward to checking it out.

Wilderness Lodge and the Boardwalk are hands down my two favorites. At the Boardwalk you have such access so many things (DHS & Epcot) and there is always something going on at night on the boardwalk. The wilderness lodge is an experience all in itself. Good luck choosing and enjoy your trip!

1. The French Quarter. I love everything about that resort, but, mostly, I like the privacy of the spa. We've been there several times.

2. The Polynesian. BIG rooms, great service, and marvelous landscaping. I've never been to the south Pacific, but I feel like I have!

My most favorite resort that I dream of staying at just once would be the Poly. I love everything about that place.

My favorite resort I have stayed at would be POR so far, but I will be staying at POFQ this year and I have a feeling Im gonna like it more than POR!!!!

The grounds are gorgeous at POR, and the rooms are very nice and much bigger than the values. I loved being just a boat ride away from DTD...that was really nice.
