Best WDW Book?

I was wondering what the best WDW book out there was? Something that has a ton of WDW info and is rather lengthy that includes general info,
tips, secrets, history, ect. It doesn't have to be just WDW, but I'm mostly focused on Disney parks and resorts. I already know a lot about Disney, but I like to read occasionally and to have a Disney book on hand would be fantastic. Thanks

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World should be exactly what you are looking for. It is quite lengthy, and goes into a great deal of detail on all the parks and resorts, it even gives a lot of great tips and hints too!!:)

I agree, The Unofficial Guide is my favorite WDW book. I have bought the Official Guides before, but after buying the Unofficial Guide, it is the best. It offers much more detailed information on all the attractions and restaurants. It is also not biased, like the Official Guide tends to be.

I'll warn you though, once you start reading The Unofficial Guide, you won't put it down until you finish. I was reading it everywhere, at work, in the bathtub, while eating dinner, etc....

Thanks for your responses! I just ordered it, cost me $5 with shipping. I ordered it from a bargain book store very local to me so hopefully it should come soon. Thanks guys, I can't wait to receive it. Any more suggestions?

The Unofficial guide... isn`t that just a guidebook?

Since the World Began is a great read. Full of history upto 1996.

My favorite book wasn't published... It was given out during the press release for Epcot's grand opening... :king:

But, for books you can actually get a hold of, I just picked up Lou's trivia book (volume 2) and find it to be entertaining- a real test of Disney knowledge!

The WDW Trivia Books (Volumes 1 and 2) by Lou Mongello

These are the BEST!! About 3 months before our trip, we were quizzing each other on the questions from Volume I. On Monday while at the bookstore I was overjoyed when finding that there was a second volume out. Definitely a must buy!
