We have the deluxe dining plan and are thinking about doing a couple signature dining choices.... Our girls are 9, 8, 5, and 3... What are the best choices for them.... We are thinking California Grill or Citricos (based on menus and reviews) also maybe Artist Point, Yachtsman, or Jiko ..... Are any better or worse for the girls? I figured the the decor and ambiance of the locations will help entertain them too. Thoughts? Thanks!

We have been taking our son to the California Grill since he was 7 years old. The view alone is worth a visit. The restaurant is signature but very kid friendly.

My son wrote a review and gave the chef 5 stars and sent it to him via our waitress. He came over to the table and thanked our son and send our son a special dessert.

Also watching wishes from the roof of the Contemporary is very special.

Jiko was a lot of fun too but my son likes to try new things to eat.

That's my 2 cents

Flying fish cafe is the only signature that I felt 100% comfortable in with little ones. The only one that you mentioned that we haven't tried with the kids was Artist Point.
California Grill is my 2nd pick if the number 1 thing is the kids.
We got the most looks in Citrico's, narcoosees and Jiko. The looks really only come from couples there w/o kiddos. They are all doable and I try not to care about people around us, after all you are on your family Disney trip. My kids are super well behaved too, probably sounds like they act up in these fancy places.....not at all. They are now 6, 3 and 14 months...so your girls' are a little older which helps. My kids really liked Le Cellier, which is now a signature too.
But no matter what go for it, enjoy those signatures while on that deluxe plan, they are fabulous!! Enjoy!!

we've done narcoossee's, california grill, and citricos with my granddaughter from the age of 4, she's now 7 and had a great time. BUT i will say she's also what i call restaurant trained. she eats a variety of foods (not just pizza and chicken nuggets which is actually why we started taking her to the signature venues), she doesn't run in the aisles, get up from the table, stand in the booth and is use to sitting through a longer meal. when my kids were little i had one that would go easily anywhere for however long the meal and one that from the age of 2-4 i refused to take to places like that. i think it's just knowing your kids and what they might like/be able to handle.

Mine are adventurous eaters and well behaved and mannered for the most part... I just want places we won't be gawked at for having the nerve to walk into :) And places that will stimulate them.

Our server gave my kids goldfish and chopsticks to keep them busy which I thought was pretty cool.

Both the California Grill and Artist Point have some excellent choices on the kids menu

Not your run of the mill chicken fingers and pizza. They do a very nice steak at California Grill and a chicken at Artist Point, and for what I think is an excellent price point.

Artist Point Kids Chicken - $9.00

California Grill Kids Dessert - $5.00

YEAH! I got a reservation at the California Grill for 9:35 on a night when Wishes is at 10:00 :) Now what are the odds of getting a window table for 6 so the girls can see everything? I set it up as a celebration for my daughter Tabby's birthday so we are hoping :)

It will definitely be tough but best of luck to you!! Maybe show up half hour early to put your name and window request in? You can always shop the gift shop while you wait, I love the huge gift shop there!

We've taken our son to Flying Fish since he was.4. You can watch the street performers on the BW and go to Seashore Sweets after dinner. He has always ordered off the adult menu, but the kid choices are good too:slurp:
Narcoossee's also has a fantastic WISHES view and a great view of the ELECTRICAL WATER PARADE. Food is excellent, but last time our service was the pits.
