That truly is an excellent list and I hereby declare BrerFrog master connaisseur of all things Disney.

LwtL belongs in any top ten list. I've been picking my mind, but I can't decide which particular scene I find the single best one. It is deserving of a topic of its own - with poll!

Me, I might choose the American prairie, those bison and the prairiedogs and the fire in the distance! Perfect. So atmospheric and exotic! (I'm non-American, so it's exotic to me! ;))

Agree the American Prairie scene is great as well. We should do a poll with a vote between the rainforest show scene, Prairie scene and the farmhouse scene. They are all fantastic IMO and full of immense detail, but I gotta say the farmhouse scene steals the show for me. The level of detail in the farmhouse scene is on par with anything from Pirates or Mansion.

Well, even "preshows" are technically "show" scenes too, right? There's something extremely magical about walking into the Haunted Mansion and then then stretching room scene. That's probably my favorite attraction preshow (although the term preshow is a bit misleading because - for me - the show begins once the CM opens the doors).

And I always look forward to the first lifthill in Big Thunder.

1. The 'Zip a Dee Lady' - showboat scene on Splash

2. The 5th Dimension

3. The pirate sitting above you on the bridge with his leg hanging down. His leg is really hairy and covered in mud. (also a close mention for the pirate with the pigs.

4. Not really a ride scene but the gorilla habitat is spectacular, feels very natural and one of the few places in Disney that you can feel alone as nobody seems to spend a lot of time there.

5. Again not really a ride scene but when Scorcerer Mickey appears at the top of the mountain in Fantasmic I know I'll never gat tired of coming to Disney World.

6. I love the Crash Test scene in Test Track, I know it used to be better years ago when the van used to smash into the wall, as you came round the corner but I still love it.

7. Big Al - nuff said

So many that I love:

I really love the last scenes on Splash, before you go up the final hill for the big drop.. it is perfect! and of course the ending scene of Splash Mt

The lobby of ToT... all of the actual ride scenes are amazing

Dunking of the Mayor/Redhead scene in POTC

Ballroom scene in HM

The ending of Dinosaur where the big Dino comes out in your face... this scene used to scare the heck out of me! I think they changed it to be less scary, but that deserves to be on this list!

Living with the Land.. the barnhouse scene has always been a favorite of mine!

Great Movie Ride- The Wizard of Oz and Fred Astaire scene

I am loving everyones' choices, but I want to give some love to COP as well, I just dont know which scene in particular, I love them all.

Agreed! The first three scenes are near as perfect as an attraction can be IMO. As good as the first scene is I would have to say I like scenes 2 and 3 the most because you see the progression of the family through time.

1. The part of the Tower of Terror ride in which you look down the hotel hallway, and it turns into a starry night and the window at the end of the hallway starts floating and then shatters. Awesome and scary!!!!!

2. The seance scene in HM.

3. The Aerosmith scene in RnRC.

4. The auction scene in Pirates.

5. ALL of the scenes in Spaceship Earth.

6. The Odin's Eye scene in Maelstrom. (What a great effect!)

7. The Munchkinland Scene in GMR. (Seriously, an entire ride needs to be made about the Wizard of Oz alone. It has such potential to be one of the most awesome rides ever).
