Hi everyone! I'm looking for advice on what everyone's favorite seafood restaurant is at Disney? We are mostly doing character meals for our kids but we decided we are going to do one steak place for my DH (the Yachtsmen, since we are staying at the Beach Club) and one seafood place. We are already doing the Cape May dinner but we would like to do one sit down at a nice seafood restaurant.
Thanks for all the great advice on here so far! I have learned so much reading through all these posts (that's how I chose the Yachtsmen! :)

Bluzoo is in my opinion the highest quality. Fulton's used to be up there but has fallen off a cliff as of late. Gone from the menu are long time staples such as King Crab Claws and the 2 lobster special. Ever since they experimented with the DDP quality has fallen by the wayside for a profitable stream lined menu. It is a shame because Fulton's was a must for me every time I go to Disney. I only go every once and a while now. Still enjoyable but not on the same level.

bluezoo at the Dolphin has the best seafood on property. Flying Fish has the best seafood on the dining plan.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
We did not like the food Coral Reef at all! Narcoosees was just okay but we never went back. We want to try Flying Fish as we have heard alot of good things about there. :)

Fulton's started taking DDP? This is important news to me... SOME sigs can survive this... but it generally causes degradation of offerings.

As of the last time I was there they were. As a matter of fact we were asked to participate in a survey about our dining experience as soon as we finished our meal. I was told they were in a trail period. You are very right about the DDP degrading the offerings. The menu was smaller and many of my favorites as mentioned above were no longer on the menu.

Our favorite seafood location so far has been Narcoossee's. Our list of places for various favorite seafood dishes:

Shrimp - Jiko
Scallops - Le Cellier
Lobster - Narcoossee's
Fish - Hollywood Brown Derby

FYI- Epcot - Coral Reef was not a good experience - food and service were each horrible.
Coral Reef is the only bad restaurant experience that I have had while visiting the Disney Parks.
I guess we got really lucky this past April with a positive experience at Coral Reef, everyone slams the place. Our server I admit was not the best I've ever had but good and I licked my plate clean....Grilled Mahi Mahi was ah-mazing!!

One overlooked gem is the FRIDAY NIGHT SEA FOOD BUFFET at the GARDEN GRILL restaurant located at the SWAN hotel. Many simply aren't aware of this quiet sit down restaurant with characters. You begin your meal with 1/2 of a 3lb lobster. Review the menu at your leisure. Also noteworthy is the OUTSTANDING Prime Rib on the carving board. The rib is as good as what is found at the ROSEN restaurants at their holiday buffets.
If Disney Dining says reservations aren't available don't believe them! Call the restaurant direct. Enjoy.

I've never had a problem with Coral Reef. It's been a couple years since we've been, but we had two lunches and two dinners there within the span of a few trips, and all were great meals. The only negative experience I've ever had there was due to a badly misbehaving family at the table next to us on our last visit, but the staff were bending over backwards to placate them. Totally not the restaurant's fault.

I have only tried Narcoossee's and California Grill. Bluezoo is on my list for our next trip, it's time to splurge a little!
