Best seafood?

The Incredible Schmulk

I've been to Fulton's twice now. The first time, the experience was awful. The table at which we were seated was so close to the neighboring table that I had to wait for the family behind me to leave before I could squeeze out of my chair, and I am definitely not a big dude. I felt every move the person behind me made because the backs of our seats were wedged against each other. The food was just okay, not good enough to justify the cost. On our second attempt, a few years later, we were seated in a much better table, so my night was not tainted by the poor layout of the restaurant. Still, the food just isn't that good. It's nothing I'm going to complain about, but you will hear no raves out of me, either.

I'm with the others who have suggested both bluezoo and Flying Fish. They are so close in quality that I can only pick one over the other with qualifications. Flying Fish is better for a casual meal, and I also give it the edge for originality of menu and preparation. bluezoo is better for a date night or a more intimate experience, and it by far has the edge for ambiance and lounge ingenuity, as well as a slight edge seafood quality.
