Best Route from Western PA

We usually fly but are thinking of driving down to WDW in November. Has anyone drove from Western PA? How long has it taken? Did you take I-95? (Mapquest is giving us an alternate route that seems very out of the way) We would appreciate any help! Thanks!

We live about an hr from Erie. We usually follow I-90 to I-79 to WV 19 to I-77 to I-26 to I-95 to I-4 and in. Usually leave on Sat morning, and at WDW by early Sun afternoon. If you'd like any other info, feel free to email.

We've taken I-95 and quite possibly the other route you're mentioning (I can't remember the route name) and if that is indeed the same route, I'd recommend staying clear of it :lookaroun

It was VERY out of the way. While 95 can be a pain, it probably is your best bet.

We'll be driving from Pgh. to WDW in July. We'll be taking this route as well.

As many times as I've taken that route, I've never had any problems. Coming from Western PA, why would you cut all the way back across just to take 95?

We will driving down to Disney from south of Pittsburgh in May. We take I-79 to I-19 to I-77 to I-26 to I-95. It is 1000 miles from my door to Pop Century. It takes about 18 hours to drive straight through. We make it to Savannah, GA on the first day. On the second day it is about a 5 to 6 hour drive. Hope this helps.
