Best Resort Lobby

Which WDW Resort Lobby has the best theme and really brings on the magic when you arrive?

My vote -- AKL

I love AKL's lobby. In fact it was the lobby that influenced my decision to stay there the following trip. More so than the animals.:lookaroun

Of the hotels I've stayed at/visited, I'd say AKL. From what I know and pictures, WL looks amazing as well

WL is my favorite with Poly right behind.

I think the Grand Canyon Concourse (thought not really the lobby) is the best WDWesque lobby. I don't know why. I just love it.

But not far behind is deifnitely Wilderness Lodge. I love all of the Wilderness Lodge.

The Contemporary is my favorite resort and its concourse I feel defines the hotel more so than the lobby. The Poly however has the best, most definative storytelling lobby.

The Contemporary's Grand Canyon Consourse (Even though it lost that theming long ago) is the best - Nothing beats cavernous feel it has and the monorail... And the renovation is going to do wonders!

My vote has to be for AKL, when I was pulling up I was excited and once inside it was wonderful.

I have to go against the crowd and vote for The Boardwalk Inn! It's just awesome how that place takes you back to the shore. The penny movie players, music, and huge furniture really kicks some backside in my opinion!

I also like AKL for many reasons already listed.

Wilderness Lodge is my first choice. My second choice is the Wilderness Lodge Villas (DVC). The animal carvings are just awesome.

I also have to throw in with the WL. I'm a sucker for the stone fireplaces and the overall woodsy feel of the lobby. Just walking into the lobby automatically relaxes me.

Hotel Lobbies

When you enter the AKL lobby your jaw will drop as you stare in amazement at it's interior. GUARANTEED!!!!!!!! :lookaroun

I agree that the WL and AKL are impressive lobbies. However, for me the Polynesian is my favorite. Being from Michigan nothing says vacation like Tropical vegetation and the smell of waterfalls.

Definitely WL. The lobby even smells good like a real log cabin or fresh cut wood. Very relaxing.
