Best Places to EAT Breakfast in Disney??

I like to go into Epcot to France - get a croissant(sp?) and coffee and sit outside. Feels like sitting in a little French town, not as expensive as a sit-down but still great food and people watching!

Ha ha ha well I am glad I now seem slightly less stupid than before  x

Hey, come on now, nobody called you stupid...

...to your face...

Awwwww SNAP!

But I will agree that a good meal means more to me than atmosphere or characters. If a place has a fun vibe AND great food, I'm thrilled to go back, but the food matters most. Of course, as my kids start to be aware of character interaction, that could change for a while. Something to look forward to...well, I had explosive diarrhea but my daughter got to meet Pooh!

yeah...I went there...

Breakfast

And if you are looking for something quick and are at Epcot, head into The Land pavilion, downstairs is a great quick-service restaurant that offers breakfast food. It's pretty good.

We have done several Character breakfasts ... 1900 Park Fare was best BUT
I have learned to save my $$$$ and eat poptarts & OJ in our room:slurp:

I really enjoyed the Ohana character breakfast at the Poly.
Not overpriced (atleast when I went).
Family style breakfast with a great amount of food.
And Mickey, Pluto, Stitch, and Lilo.. The kids even get to dance with them.

My take on Disney Breakfasts is that they are all mostly the same food wise. The difference is the characters that are there. Here is my opinion on those that I have been at:

1. Donald's Breakfastsaurus (discont'd): We were there on our Honeymoon. We got to the park 90 minutes before it opened. We were told it opened at 8AM. A CM saw us waiting, saw our Bride/Groom pins, and asked when we got married and talked for a little while. She asked why we were there so early and took us in for a free breakfast. There were only about 2-3 other families there. The characters literally played with all of us for almost an hour. Just having fun bantering and playing.

2. 'Ohana: Very good atmosphere. Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Donald were a blast. Conga line, kids playing and jumping around made it worth every penny.

3. Akershus: Food is adventurous and I don't eat it. They still have the normal breakfast fare as well. The Princess interaction is priceless. Mary Poppins disciplining my daughter for standing on the chair to give her a hug was hilarious. My daughter thought she was in trouble and almost cried. Mary kneeled over, talked to her, and told her a lady should always keep her feet on the ground. The other Princesses were just as fabulous.

4. Tusker House: I love the safari theme and the character interaction. There are some wild African breakfast items and the standard fare. I try to eat here every time.

5. Crystal Palace: My last experience was not so good. We were seated at a table just as the characters left. The waiter said they would be back in about an hour. What?!?!?!?! We had to wait almost 50 minutes for them to get back. They waiter kept asking if we were done so they could seat another family. I told him I was not leaving until the characters came around. He stopped filling drinks and we had to ask other waiters/waitresses for help. No tip for him.

6. Chef Mickey's: Characters are fun. We were kind of rushed and the time of our meal was not when I prefer. Good food and the kids love the characters playing.

1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian is our current #1, O'Hana is a close 2nd! I'd have to say that Roaring Fork @ Wilderness Lodge has the best quick-service breakfast (ie. awesome waffles)!
