Best Pizza at Disney World

Isn't all of the general service pizza...Pizza Planet, Pizzafari etc. exactly the same? You will get different at Wolfgang Pucks, that would be my choice.

It may be a "cookie cutter" kind of pizza that you find all over the place.. but the atmosphere at Pizza Planet and the availability of Ranch Dressing packets (without asking or paying extra for them) makes it SO the best for me. There's nothing better than dipping pizza in ranch dressing.
:slurp::slurp: MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmm Great! :slurp::slurp:

For me, the best pizza experience (sorry, no "best pizza" unless you goto Chicago) is from the Spoodle pizza window on the Boardwalk. Great way to kill an afternoon.

:lol:I thought my son was the only person who did this!

Now to actually address the thread...according to the food people whom I contacted to try to get carb counts for pizza (my son is diabetic), the carb counts vary; therefore the pizza IS different, though the taste may be very similar. That said, we have to eat at Pizza Planet (for my son), and that will be the only pizza I eat in the World!

I'd have to say the pizza Uno about a mile from Downtown Disney...I've not had any pizza that was good enought to actually want to order it again.

That said, there are things I just love on property to eat...the Earl of Sandwich, Flame Tree, of course Mickey bars, frozen bananas (don't laugh if you haven't tried it!), just not the pizza.

I have been to Chicago and the pizza was fantastic. My favorite pizza is from New York or Philly. As far as Disney, I have been there roughly 20 times and I do not think I ever had a slice of pizza. It is ironic, pizza is something that I eat almost 4 times a week at home. Maybe when I go in 22 days I will change that!

There is no good pizza outside of the NY metro area. It would be so cool if Boardwalk would have good NY-style pizza, since it's supposed to be based on Atlantic City, and other NJ shore resort areas, all of which have GREAT NY-style pizza. But maybe that would not appeal to the rest of the world. :sigh:

For me (a pizza lover) the counter service at Spoodles has the best pizza and best "pizza experience" in WDW.:slurp: It's great to go down there late, get a slice of pizza and enjoy the Boardwalk.

The Spoodles pizza is good, but my favorite is the flatbread pizzas from Mama Melrose in MGM. The pesto one is the best! But they were all good.
Definately give them a try.

Ah, someone else who feels my pain. Not just at WDW, but anywhere. I try to explain the concept of a thin crust that is not crisp like a cracker, but wonderfully chewy, and I get odd stares. :) and tomato sauce that tastes like - surprise surprise, tomatoes not catsup.

Growing up in NE New Jersey has spoiled me for all other pizza.

Having had great food at WDW over the years from different levels of restaurants and food stops, I can honestly say that DISNEY pizza isn't really that good IMO!

I'd have to say that the Pizza at the Cheesecake Factory Express in DisneyQuest was the Best I had out there..Every time I went I'd have to get one cuz it was sooo good.
