Best PERK in Disney....

I'm actually looking forward to the DME. Is it bad that I've already mapped out Orlando's airport so I can hit Lush (fresh cosmetics/bath store) before heading down to the DME station? :)

I like not dealing with the hassles of driving, traffic, not knowing where the hell Im going, and being able to kick back and let someone else deal with that.

I never took the bus. It's a great perk for those without cars, but I never actually used it.

I guess the best "perk" was skipping the TTC on MK days when staying in a monorail hotel.

I don't really think of any of these as "perks" because we pay for them. It isn't like getting free theater and concert tickets from your sister who works in radio. THAT was a perk! :)

We need time for things to happen.
Strangely enough - the Airline \ Baggage Check in at the resort.
We're actually going to be staying a couple of extra days AFTER our WDW stay this year and (outside of the 'walk of shame' piece) I'm going to miss getting up in the morning being able to go to the front desk and just checking in our luggage and not worrying about it until we get home.

Not being at work with my LAZY co-workers. But seriously, it would be Free Dining for us, when it's offered.

The best perk (IMO) is the transportation system. Of course, there are parts of it that can be a pain, but in general, the fact that you do not need a car to spend any amount of time inside a park system that spans 47 square miles is amazing. Boats, Busses, Monorails! Being able to take the boat around the seven seas lagoon, boating from POFQ or POR to DTD, bussing anywhere, monorailing between parks, etc.

IMAO...the best perk offered at Disney is the Magical Express...after long plane ride to Orlando and after long vacation, not having to worry about transportation and luggage is such a tremendous Perk! What do you think?

We like the Magical Express also. I guess we feel like it's official once we board and the videos start playing. It is a nice perk and it's great not having to worry about renting a car.

My favorite perk is being able to send your purchases back to your resort. The last thing I want to do is be carrying around packages with me all day and the last day we were there in October, I forgot to pick up the package at guest services (couldn't send it to the resort as we were leaving the next day) Oops!! So being able to just buy it and not have to worry about remembering to pick it up at the end of the night is a big plus for me!

DME, I hope Disney never decides to stop it. When that was added to the package I was in heaven. No more seeking out the baggage claims area, no more worrying about waiting for the luggage to show up, no more fighting with multiple suitcases. The buses are comfortable, the drivers pleasant, the videos get me anxious to get the fun really started. We have never had a problem with the system. I only HATE it when we have to make the DME ride back to the airport.

A perk for me happened on our last trip. We were in France when Aurora made her appearance and there was basically nobody else around. I zoomed over for the M&G while the wife readied the camera. At the end of a nice chat Aurora asked if she could give me a hug. I got a big one and the wife was aggravated the rest of day. Priceless!!
P.S. Best part of the chat: I asked Aurora how the prettiest Princess in the land was doing and she replied (with a cute, little pout), "I don't know, we'll have to go ask Belle".
P.P.S. When we returned home I emailed WDW Guest Relations asking them to recognize the young lady playing Aurora that day, at that time, in that location for helping to make my visit MAGICAL. Got a nice reply back too.

Dayum, but I LOVE WDW!!!

This is a tough one because I use 4 different perks on my trips.

The Disney Dining Plan might be the biggest perk when it is offered free. The fact is I without the dining plan, I wouldn't be going to as many table service restaurants and I'll be eating more counter service meals.
