Having only stayed at All Stars in the past, on our next trip we plan to go up market a little and try a moderate.

In your opinons which moderate is the best in terms of location/rooms/food etc etc.

Thx

I have done all the mod resorts at least once. I wish they had more. I recently started doing delux and now joined DVC so probually won'g be going back. The only one I will miss is Dixi Landings ( I heard a rummor some people now call it PORS.) We like AB the best but MB is nice (stayed in both)

The pool is great, I love the food court. IMO it is the best in WDW. Samwayla -- maybe your experince at Cotten Mill was a one time thing?

They have a good play area for kids and it is lovely and romantic also! If you go in the spring the Magnolia trees are in bloom. I think that must be great, but i have only ever been there in March!!!

It is the very first resort we ever stayed in at WDW and will always be close to our hearts. GOOD MEMORIES!!!!!!

Next I like CS. It is very nice, pool is great and theming is fun. The fact is is an convention center can take some of the Disney Magic away, but not much.

fav mod resort

You guys seem to not mention the CB, it has by far the most room out of all the moderates in the "world". The only draw back that i can see is the size of the resort itself, by the theme of the resort really makes you feel as if you were in Aruba or some where in jamaica. Its a great spot for the kids too, I'll be staying there for the 3rd time in April and chose it over Coronado and PO, i guess its just a few of us that thinks that, but it is truely the best of them all...moderates that is!!!

41 days and counting....

Well all the Moderates except French Quarter give you a TON of room. The resorts are gigantic. What about Coronado? That place is so big it takes you 30 minutes to do lap around the lake. But the theming is really nice :sohappy:

I really appreciate you taking the time to post this info. Our trip is not until August, so I don't think I can use that code. But thanks for your help.
