Best July 4 MK Fireworks View

OK..big debate. Where is the very best location to watch the July 4 MK fireworks. I say Poly Beach, but some say Contemporary. I suppose anywhere around the lagoon is good...

While staying at the Grand Floridian for July 4th 2008 celebrations we left the MK at about midday and went back to the GF. We went to the water's edge at the GF. Where ever you decide to do get there early there are very large crowds at all hotels. Just a suggestion but have dinner at what ever hotel you go to that way you will be on property well before the Fireworks.

We actually stood on Main St. because when we were there in the past the fireworks circled the park, that was the best fireworks ever!

Even the regular fireworks are amazing from there.

I also stayed at GF in 2008 and had a great view at the boat dock at GF. I think there may have been a wedding going on because I saw a spectacular display before the MK fireworks that looks like it went off at the wedding pavilion. I personally like the view from GF

On the beach at the Polynesian Resort with a nice cocktail. Can't be beat!!!!!

Have been catching it at Cinderella's Royal Table for the past few years and I love it! The atmosphere is captivating with everyone cheering and watching the fireworks go up through the windows. If you want to see EVERYTHING this isn't the best place but I love being with the family and having the fireworks go up next to you, it's really nice.:wave:

Up on the train platform is a great spot, but you have to stake out a spot waaaaaay early.

Two of the best places are at the Poly Beach and also at California Grill, looking down from California Grill is really a different experience. Either of these are great!!!!!!!!
If you can not get to these places one other place is pretty cool, go toward the Liberty Area and there is a place to stand by the water there kinda like across from Tom Sawyer Island, you can not see all the fireworks but you can see most of them from there with less crowds too

I have seen them from the roof of the Contemporary but never from one of the resort beaches. If you are in the MK you miss all the fireworks around seven seas, which are only shot off on July 3 and 4. I think the Poly beach, with piped in music and a view of the castle, is the way to go.
