DS is in the process of being diagnosed with celiac's disease. The dr wants to rerun the blood test to double check. So that means we will be going gluten free. I know most of our TS meals will be fine but I'm wondering about CS. We have a car so I am willing to travel to other resorts if we need to. Looking for breakfast suggestions and park lunch suggestions. Also snack suggestions would be great. TIA.

Hello, I have been gluten free for over 4 years, and my wife 2 years. We have found many options in eating at all restaurants on property. Most have the same things on hand, so yes it does get boring fast, I suggest you contact Special.Diets@disneyworld.com for the latest dinning options. Plus it all depends on what resort you are staying at. We like the Animal Kingdom Jambo for their CS meals. The chefs are always pleasant. The CS are getting better with their own menus so you don't have to speak with a chef every time. Just find the first cast member and as to see the allergy menu. You will need to allow more time at CS because of the manager having to expedite you order. Plan to eat early or late to not have to wait as long. We have had food take 30min to get because their were 20 allergy orders up at same time. Any question please feel free to contact

WDW is by far the easiest place to eat GF. My wife was diagnosed in the mid 90s with C-S. If was so difficult to eat anywhere back then. When we started our trips to WDW, we found that the staff was more than knowledgeable able GF (and so many other diets). And they have only gotten better! We have talked to several chefs before ordering and when we saw its a gluten issue, they have responded, "Just gluten! Thats easy." So no worries. You will be surprised at how many of the TS restaurants have numerous GF items as is (like Narcoossee calamari and Yachtsman lobster bisque for example) . Even some fried foods (50s PT). Again, np need to worry. Just add the allegry to your ADR and remind the host and server before you order. Have fun!
