Best for a large lively group?

Going on a group trip this fall with a large lively group and looking for a good restaurant for us to meet up at one night of the trip. In the past we have dined at Whispering Canyon Cafe and had fun there, but wondering if there are other similar restaurants that can handle large groups well and have some character to them? Our group tends to play along well with theming, so we have done well at the WCC and the old Adventurers Club before, but it would be fun to try a new place anywhere on the property that doesn't mind sober but lively crowds. We could do off park as well if there is somewhere worth it, what do you suggest?

I'm not necessarily suggesting it (I thought the food was fine but not anything special), but when I was at Via Napoli a few weeks ago there was a table behind us of at least 15 people so they can definitely handle larger groups.

My first thought was Biergarten. Since you have a large party, you won’t have to share tables like with other parties like most. The buffet is good, the surroundings are beautiful (feels like you’re outside), and the atmosphere is great! Lively show and music.

My first thought was Biergarten.

Another suggestion for Hoop Dee Doo which immediately came to mind. Youre encouraged to hoot and holler and the cast come off stage and interacts with the tables. Its entertaining, lively and the food is plenty, with great attention and service from your server.

We had a group of 12 which Art Smith's Homecomin' accomodated last trip. It's not pretentious. You can speak freely. Food is great and it's very laid back.

No, but we absolutely play along with cast members and aren't afraid to look like idiots*. We try to have as much fun as we can without becoming a pain or stealing the focus. Many of our crew come from theatrical and performing back grounds and the rest are just rambunctious in a don't be jerks kind of way.


* There may be a reason for this.

I don’t know if 50’s Prime Time Cafe can a accommodate large groups or not, but dining with the cousins is always a hoot.

I took a group of 13 to Enzo’s Hideaway and had a great time. Great drinks, great food, very lively!

Biergarten encourages group dining. Works better for a group of people than solo travelers.

Biergarten, HDD, and 'Ohana or Raglan Road would be my suggestion.
