Best Fast Eatery

Which places have the best eateries where you can basically run in, get what you want, and be on your way again as far as the resorts are concerned? For example, the Roaring Forks (at Wilderness Lodge) is the type of place I mean. It's not a sit-down and order type place, you pretty much walk through the line, pick out what you want, pay, sit, eat, and you're back out the door again. I liked Roaring Forks a lot, but how do other places compare?

But I agree, the vegetarian chili is really good in this cooler weather.

Back at the resorts, I'm running out of Quick Service Restaurants to suggest. Maybe the one at the Caribbean Beach. Good variety and usually not too busy, so you can find a quiet table with a view of the (small) lake outside.

As far as resort fast food is concerned...Gasparillas at the Grand Floridian has some terrific sandwiches...and a view of the Castle too...open 24 hours...has some games for the kids or the young at heart.

...they also will bend over backwards for you and cook anything for you even if it's not on the menu...

Columbia Harbor House seems to be the best for our appetite. Sitting by the windows upstairs allows for a nice view of the park and the people in the place have always been very nice....

I think the food court at Port Orleans: Riverside is the best food court on the entire property. The atmosphere is awesome, as is the theming and who would have thunk it, the food is good too!

My favorite used to be Port Orleans-Riverside (dixie landings) but now it is The Mara at AKL. It is fast, and has a lot of variety, we usually ate breakfast here. It was very nice especially when you are staying there. The only thing, make sure you wear a coat, they keep it FREEZING!

If The Wait isnt Too Long I've Always liked The Pinocchio Place or Pecos Bill in the MK. Nice and Salty Fries.
The worst place has to be the Food Court at Carribean Beach. It is very poorly set up.

Although Roaring Forks is hard to beat overall, I agree the food courts at the AllStars are really good. Good variety and always ready to go. For a walkup and eat place, they are hard to beat.

My favorites - Roaring Forks at WL and the Cotton Mill at POR.

But I'll have to try some of the others mentioned...
