Best Disney Movie Memory

Everyone has that one (or two!) special moment(s) where you were in a theater, and you had such an emotional connection with a Disney movie. What's yours?

Mine has to be "Up". I took my kids to see this movie in the summer of 2009 while my husband was in AIT for the Army. We had been having problems, and the beginning of the movie, where they show the montage of Carl's life with Ellie just hit me. I sobbed like a baby. LOL

My best happy moment, though, is a toss up between the end of "The Little Mermaid", when Ariel hugs King Triton and whispers "I love you, Daddy" into his ear and the end of "Meet The Robinsons" when Louis is standing in the new house, in his room... The look on his face and the look on his parents' face is just so beautiful.

I cry at almost every Disney movie.
Lion King - "Get up Dad...we gotta go"
Little Mermaid - "I Love you Daddy"
UP - whole montage w/Ellie and then again when Russell is talking about his dad coming to his boy scout thing
Beauty and the Beast - the whole end

I could go on and on!

But the only Disney movie memory in a theater that sticks out is...seeing Beauty and the Beast in theaters and when Beast is holding Gaston out over the edge I stood up and yelled "DROP HIM BEAST, DROP HIM!" I remember this clear as day and my parents were mortified. They still tease me about it.

LMAO!!! That is hilarious!! That reminds me of seeing "Pocahontas" in the movies with my mom. When John Smith was telling Pocahontas "No matter what happens to me, I'll always be with you" and my mom turns to this woman on her left and says "Ain't that just like a man? Making promises he sure as hell can't keep". I was soooooo embarassed! LOL

My dad says that seeing "The Lion King" is his favorite Disney movie memory, because my sister and I had saved up our allowance and held a yard sale to earn money to pay for all our tickets and refreshments. He said he had no idea why we were wanting all that money so bad, but he was so touched when we told him we were spending our money on him. (We were only 13 and 9. :))
