Best Day to Visit IoE?

My wife and I are going to Orlando in early May of next year (May 8-14). We are going to spend most of our time at Disney, but one day we are setting aside to head over to IoA and specifically Harry Potter.

We want to maximize our time there and hit everything we can since we will only have one day. What day of the week tends to have the least amount of people?

Weekends always tend to be more crowded, so that leaves Sat or Sun out. People sometime either take a day or two before or after the weekend to make it a long weekend. That is what we do. So my best guess would be Wednesday!!

I was told to go on a Wednesday, and I found it relatively uncrowded that day. But then again, it wasn't a terribly busy time of year (third week in October).

The beginning of May shouldn't be too bad during the week. Do take note that local schools start taking field trips around that time... Thus turning a nice day into one that will drive you to the bars!

I'd stick to your plan of Wednesday or Thursday and you should be OK. You'll probably have a short wait for Potter and have little or no wait for anything else. If you go on the weekend, expect a 45 minute wait for the Potter stuff and a 25-30 for everything else.
