IPAs r overrated I like a good one now and then but it is tuff to drink a lot of them

It is the new "in" thing.

Just like when Emeril was the hot chef and everyone was of the opinion that the more garlic the better (no matter if it actually improved the flavor or just overwhelmed it) now it seems to be whoever can jam the most IBUs in a bottle is the winner.

I am going to start selling loose hops soaked in beer and telling people they can use them like dip, between their cheek and gum.

As for large companies creating "craft" labels, remember the "scandal" when the Plank Road Brewery and Red Dog was revealed to be Miller - oh the horror.

I think it is turning into the hipster thing to do is hate IPAs lol I am far from a hipster but I see more ppl not liking IPAs. I always pick up one IPA in my 6 pack but will never make the mistake of buying a case of an IPA

I was shocked to see Yeti Stout in Animal Kingdom. I'm a big fan. Being from Massachusetts we can't get fat tire ale. So I was very happy to find fat tire.

I don't hate them. I just don't subscribe to the idea of making them as hoppy as possible. Sure, they have pronounced hops - that is the style, but that is not ALL they have.

Everything seems to be about the hops - Hop Devil, Hopalicious, IPA Bomb, or whatever other names they seem to come up with.

Yup, it's true, though Ska Brewing's is one of my favourites these days.

Would like to have scene more local breweries be involved but I'm sure disney and the major distributors would never let that happen. Florida has a bunch of small batch breweries that have great beers that would add a much different feel to the food and wine

They have racer 5 at a bunch of places, ive had the 420 from sweetwater on tap in hollywood studios. Could def use some more porters/stouts. Personally I favor a black ipa, seems to be the best of both worlds for me. Ive seen a few others they had otter creek and napa valley at a few places. I believe i saw Bells Oberon which is more of a summer style, Not really my style. I happen to be one of those ppl that can drink IPAs all day if need be, but would really prefer a large selection to bounce around with.

Resurrecting this thread to say that I'm seeing a lot of Cigar City Brewing being served around the world. This is a huge positive IMO. Probably the best in FL, if not the whole southeast.
