Hey guys, I tried to search for this but the search function wouldn't let me search certain words and didn't work properly so I'm sticking up a new thread.

I have a visit planned June 11th for a week staying at Saratoga Springs and we have the dining plan. Our dinner time ADR's are sorted but need to decide where to each lunch on the cs credits. We will only be doing a couple of parks so have 4 days to choose for.

What are you guys suggestions as the best cs places to eat at that aren't in a park?

Thanks guys

DD

Downtown Disney has a few. Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich are two that I am aware of. We have never been to EoS but I have heard good things about it. Wolfgang's was good. You will be at saratoga so DD is a short walk or boat ride from there. If you request to stay in the Congress Park area the walk is about 10 minutes maybe even less.

We could have eaten WG Pucks everyday, it was so good. Don't waste your time eat at POFQ resort.:hurl:

 no we wont be going to the french quarter. we're doing wgp on the night we arrive, and have shuffled things around a bit so we only need to pick 3 places to eat for lunch outside the parks. narrowed it down to contempo cafe, roaring fork, riverside mill, and the pop century foodcourt as ive never been to that resort

We stayed at Pop Century in '08 and actually found the food to be great (for a food court, atleast). My suggestion would be to go during lunch to avoid crazy crowds and get the tie-dyed cheese cake!

Another vote for the Earl of Sandwich, we love the variety there and the outdoor seating area is nice.

Also I would second that the Pop Century food court has a great variety of choices and for a food court it's really good food. My Hubby always goes on about their chicken strips.

Roaring fork was ok when we stayed at WL but the menu is quite limited. We want to try and get over to the Pepper Market @ CSR on our next trip as I usually hear good things about it.

I like the Contemporary for QS, it's a quick break from the MK and a monorail ride away. Food was great, and they had great dessert options.

Plus they have a great lounge area outside of Chef Mickeys for some afternoon relaxation... :snore::snore::snore::snore::snore:

Earl of Sandwich of course is great.

The Contempo Cafe in the Contemporary has very yummy burgers and flatbreads. The burgers aren't in-park burgers, they're restaurant-quality burgers. You put in your order, pay and wait for them to cook it all to order. About the same price as quick serve in the parks but a lot higher quality.

I would definatley suggest Wolfgang Puck & Earl of Sandwich, both in DTD. Both were excellent !! T Rex was fun for the kids, but not on DP.

Contrary to everyone else in this thread  we don't like EoS, we find the sandwhiches to be soggy wet messes of bread. Thanks for your input, think we've decided where we want to go.

We both hate Spaghetti and Meatballs at Wolfgang Puck Express and it was pretty gross. The creme brulee was amazing though...
