My GF and I are going back to WDW late August for my birthday. We have never eaten a 'real' breakfast anywhere on property and would like to try out at least one place this trip. We usually just grab something quick at the resort, something from the bakery in MK, or bring quick food with us.

It's just the two of us so character breakfasts are not really necessary.

Suggestions? Where are your favorite places for breakfast? Good views? Exceptionally good food?

Kona Cafe or Boma are two of my favorites without characters but I'm still a sucker for Chef Mickeys. :)

P.S. Where'd you do your CP?? I'm a 2010 Alum.

Kona cafe for sure. But dont sell yourself short of a character breakfast. My wife and i always have fun at Cape May Cafe. Low key, low crowds, great food, and fun with the characters.

Kona Cafe. Nothing like sipping on a pressed pot of Kona coffee while listening to the waterfall in the lobby. GF Cafe also has decent food with a great atmosphere.

Captains Grill at the Yacht Club. Very reasonable the buffet was 15.00 or individual plates round 8-10 dollars very relaxing nice, and good tasting food. Will do again. Look at their menu on allears.net

Tusker is the very best in AK

Boma at the AKL is pretty good. Although I must say the food at Ohana's (Poly) won me, and my whole family (all adults) over. Great atmosphere too.

Let me recommend the Grand Floridian cafe, my dear wife's favorite breakfast location on property.

As others already have suggested the Kona Cafe is also an excellent choice for breakfast and I would recommend that as my second choice.

My CP was at CBR as the guy who drove the beverage cart around to all the pools, quite an awesome gig!

Thanks everyone! We've eaten dinner at Kona before and loved it and with all of you saying how great the breakfast is, we may have to go there again.

Trail's End Buffet is the best deal in the Kingdom and its tasty too. The atmosphere is maybe a little generic, but the scenery around the restaurant is great. Its connected to Pioneer Hall at Fort Willderness.

Whispering Canyon is our fav... The CMs are fantastic and you canNOT beat the skillet. Hubby and I will sit and relax with a cup of coffee watching the restaurant spectacles while we try to fit as much as we CARE to eat into our tummies. It's a Must-Do for us.

While it is usually just the two of us, we both also love character breakfast and absolutely love Crystal Palace. If you are early risers, try to get priority seating before park opening and you get some great MK picture ops before the crowds.

The Grand Floridian Café and Kouzzina are my favorites. The GFC has a lovely dining room with large windows that let in a lot of light and overlook the grounds of the Grand Floridian. They also have a wonderful menu.

Kouzzina's dining room is not as impressive, but I think (?) they have some outdoor seating now that would be pleasant on a nice morning. Theirs is my favorite breakfast food anywhere on property, plus they have excellent adult beverages. Their bloody Marys alone are probably worth a visit.

Crystal Palace has a wonderful ambience, very bright and sunny in the morning for breakfast, and the food is really great too. If you make a reservation before the park opens, you'll have Main Street and the Castle almost all to yourself to get some great pictures.

1900 Park Fare

I was actually really impressed with the food at 1900 Park Fare. We love Kona but in my opinion, the best breakfast buffet/family style we have had was at 1900 (we've had WCC, Chef Mickey's, and Boma).
