I want to do a table service buffet breakfast at a resort before we go to water park. We have done Chef Mickey and am looking to try something else. Any suggestions?

Loved Boma... Whispering Canyon was good too as far as the food, but it's not as "fun"/"wild" (at least in my experience) as it is for lunch/dinner... Kona was pretty good too...

We're staying at the animal kingdom and I'm a little scared to try Boma. I have some picky eaters in the group. Will there be normal food as well?

Most of their buffet besides a group of African inspired dishes is standard breakfast fare. All of it is very good and a large variety of food to find something for everyone. They have regular cereals , pastries, plain eggs or omelets , breads, etc etc. :)

Cape May - Their breakfast is great. It's not a huge restaurant but the buffet has so much to choose from. The characters are wearing beachwear too so would be fun before hitting the water park.

Honestly, Kona at the Poly is the best breakfast on property hands down. Better than any of the buffets IMO. And it's plenty of food for a much better price.

You could order a couple of different plates and share them with the table and it would be more than enough food.

I have heard that Boma is excellent, although there is something to be said for Chef Mickey's

We loved Chef Mickey's decent food and great atmosphere when our children were young, now that my children are 22 and 18 they prefer the more refined offerings at Boma and generally care less about character meet & greets.

I totally understand. My DD is only 12, so the character spots still work.
