I can't believe the number of votes Maelstrom has. The ride is honestly pretty lame...
I am more shocked that Impressions De France & the other films aren't getting as much attention as Maelstrom...

Perhaps Italy, UK, or Germany should have had a water-based ride... :animwink::lol:

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
I do not have one. Only been to Epcot once and it was on July 4th, so it was not a memorable trip. Going to try it again this yr.

Oh if u give it the time it deserves u are gonna love it!!! On my trip in July i finally got to devote time to epcot esp the world showcase and now i cant wait to stay close at an epcot resort!
As for the poll if it was in there my fave part of world Showcase is without a doubt the great Rose and Crown but from the poll its gotta be Maelstrom!!!!!

Love Norway, Maelstrom is very good, (love the movie at the end; yeah, I know a lot of people think it lame) and let's not forget the smell; Laila gets me everytime. And with all that I just said, it is, no holds barred, got to be the "American Adventure" (this is just a class act performance). And of course, this is JMHO.

This was pretty close for me because, honestly, I think the Kim Possible thing is pretty awesome. I don't have any interest in the show, and I think at times it's a little overly childish, and I wish they could have pulled it off without the almighty SYNERGY, but, still, it's pretty awesome and immersive.

But, still, American Adventure.

I don't understand the Maelstrom love. It's like 30 seconds long. It starts to be kind of like a thrill ride, but instead becomes a random travelogue. Read the history of the ride, ti could have actually been cool. Instead, it's lame. I just ride it because of how much fun it is to mock with friends.

Agreed but hey its an opinion some people may like Maelstrom some people may not thats with any attraction. In my opinion i think its an ok ride but could have been executed better.

I love the American Adventure and think it is by far the best World Showcase attraction, but I voted for Impressions de France because I felt sure AA would win and I wanted to draw attention to Impressions. It amazes me how many people have never seen it, or any of the other excellent films in World Showcase. Really everyone, you owe it to yourself to try them at least once, especially France!
