Pre-Trip Being a Bridesmaid in my Friend's Disney Wedding!/ Planning a trip where everything is subject to change due to MDE being down all the time

I know what you're thinking- Leia, you haven't even finished your trip report from November.

I know, I know. I will finish it.

But I just booked the hotel and have one dining reservation linked, so I am pretty dang excited!

So, I will finish that, and then truly get started on this.

I can get some details out of the way though:

When- October 14-19
Where- Pop Century
Why- I've got a friend getting married on the 17th on property!
Who- me, some friends, and some people I have never met (all on the groom's side of the family/friend group)

Oh, the Groom’s stuff still isn’t working on MDE

Maybe the system will be fixed by the time you all get there?! MDE has had a number of issues since inception.

Have a WONDERFUL trip!! (And good luck with the Alzheimer's Walk. That's very nice you're doing that. My father passed away from that hideous disease.)

I feel like every issue involving Disney technology has happened on this trip. I totally forgot to mention this, but the groom’s friend who is staying with me, Carlie and Matt texted us yesterday to let us know that she ended up with all of our Magical Express tags and departure info? I have no idea how that happened, but it happened.

And thank you. It’s only a 2 mile walk, but the one I had tried to do in a different region a couple months ago was rained out, so I felt compelled to do this one. It is really a terrible disease, and seeing how 3/4 of my grandparents ended up with some form of dementia, it’s definitely gives me some concern for the future. I’m so sorry that your father had it too.

So, it was a bit of a stressful adventure getting here, but I am at MCO. On a ME bus. Waiting.

I was the first one on the bus, and I just need food (only had one meal today and I am crashing).

Due to the heat this week, I ended up leaving the Captain Marvel outfit at home (long sleeves and 90 degrees is not a combo I like) I brought my Rey costume instead.
