Behind the Walls Tour

It was awesome to see the testing of the waterfall and to be inside the Mine train coaster. The shot of Belle's cottage though was amazing. You do really feel like you've been transported completely to the movie. WOW.

It also seems like a lot of us are planning to make our trips at the end of September. Here's to hoping these ares will be open for our visits. :)

Yes the shot from inside the 7DMT was pretty cool.

Wow, when I first watched that video I had assumed that the steel structure there at the beginning was part of the unfinished castle wall, but that is not it at all is it. It looks like it's outside the bridge for the entrance to Be our Guest. I don't see anything on the overhead views in the concept art. Interesting!!!

I was about to say the same thing as ellie-badge about Belle's cottage. It's like standing inside the movie. (I don't go again until January so it's going to be some long long months this fall.)

Did they change the Ariel statue to a ship statue?

Good question! I was also wondering if the ship sculpture that was in progress was in place of the Ariel one shown in this concept art.

But then again the ship and the place where the shot was filmed could be in a completely different area of the outside of the attraction. In a different one of the many coves that can be seen from the concept art.

I'm ecstatic about the waterfall testing. I've posted numerous times asking if anyone has some scoop about when we will begin seeing the water-effects and action and have done some deeper research of my own. Finally I have a visual out there to look at.

I certainly won't mind the cascades and streams replacing the dirt and paveways that took up the space in the projects earlier phases.

Actually I think the ship is where the statue was going to be. If you look at this aerial view you can see where the ship is and it seems to match the statue artwork:

And, although I'm no expert, it almost appears to me, in this particular photo just above the 'C' in Copyright, that they are constructing an area where Ariel might be going. I've looked at it in several of the aerial shots, and it could be. Again, no expert. :) (and happy I got through that post without having to use aerial and Ariel too many times...)
