I see one crap french beer (Kronie), one meh belgian (Hoegaarden), and two awesome belgians.

Not a bad attempt, but they could've gone a lot better without having to raise the price.

I'm just happy they aren't insane prices. $6-8 isn't bad

I don't think I've ever had a french beer. Just give me a cold Ale or Pilsner and I'm happy. I don't like 'food' beers (tastes like food, has visible food bits in it) or 'bread' beers (so thick it is like soaked bread)

having been to Belgium and Luxembourg ( where there is a lot of Belgian beer) these beers are really good, especially the last. The last is the best of the list and is the best Belgian beer i have honestly ever had

Not impressed with the French beer. Hoegaarden is OK. Not spectacular, but better than a bud light. I have not had the other 2, but they both sound pretty good. My question is will they introduce seasonal beers as well. Something light and fruity for the summer and some sort of Octoberfest pumpkin ale type thing for fall? I guess they would have to fit into the French theme, but they do exist. I wonder if these will all be bottles or if they will have some on tap.

We will be dining there on November 21st. It will be beyond enjoyable to have a Chimay or Dupont with dinner.

Exactly. I am a Chimay lover. When I travel to Europe (or the French/Dutch territories closeby) I bring back several bottles since it's usually 1/4 the price that it costs here in PR.

I may be the odd one out here but not a big fan of European beer.Maybe Erdinger, but I've tried beer from Germany,Belgium,Czech, and a few others but not my cup of tea,so to speak.

Blue Moon is supposed to be like Hoegaarden.

The list is ok. Kronen is horrible yellow swill. Personally not a fan of belgain brews. I don't care for the sourness of the yeast. I am suprised there are no lambics.

I suspect they needed one "light colored" beer for people like me who don't enjoy ales or fruity beers. My husband would go for the last one on the list. But I would be more likely to have a glass of wine anyway.

I'm waiting for the "Why don't they have Bud Lite Lime?" complaints...

I'd probably only order the Chimay.

The Chimay is the only thing that really excited me there, but the others aren't bad. Since they have beer from Belgiam I would have been really really excited if they sold Corsendonk, the abbey brown ale may just be the best beer ever made. Also I know my fiance would be happy if they included Lindemans Framboise.

I wonder if you'll be served chimay in it's intended chalice, or if will come in the glassware for whichever room you're sitting in?

"I'd like to have your finest goblet of chimay please."
