Beer School Gone

I was at SeaWorld today and went to Beer School. The guys teaching the class said that today was the last day for Beer School. I asked why, they told me a new beer tasting class is taking over and they're building a new area for that where the current beer school class is located.

Just passing along this sad information!

Really? Aww man, I was just there last Sunday (Oct 30) and went to the school... my family and I enjoyed ourselves very much... we love free beer!

Beer tasting class? So are they finally admitting that everyone just goes to drink the free beer, and not to actually learn about how its made? :lol:

They've known that all along, but if they can make you sit through a few boring movies and some chit chat... they promote their beers!

We went back today, it was off the map and the area was closed off.

I like beer and think it's a great adult beverage. However, I once went on a Busch Brewery tour in Williamsburg, VA and the nasty smell was so bad, I passed on drinking any of the beer!

LOL I remember taking part in the "Beer School" a few years ago.

We were given several samples of beer to try, including one that had been artificially aged to demonstrate what stale beer tastes like.....

They did not tell us that it was "out of date" beer, I drank the whole cup down and enjoyed it too, before being told what it was. I looked around to see that everyone else had only had a sip or two and was disgusted by the taste!

You're like my brother... we tried some new fruit beer they were giving out as samples in the Hospitality House and it was horrible! But my brother drank everyone's... we all took one or two sips and then handed it to him to finish... lol... and the Bare Knuckle Stout they have (had) there was :hurl: ... I can't wait to see what the new beer school has to offer... maybe allow us to do more than just one of the review cards... like sample all the beers or something...
