Been There Done That Gotta Do It Again

I suppose I can't just say "everything!", so...

MK: The Haunted Mansion (of course..the best!) and I've ridden Space Mountain so many times now I find it relaxing and very enjoyable! :sohappy:
Epcot: Walking around the World Showcase is so wonderful, especially when you're on a loose schedule and the sun is just starting to set.
DHS: Tower of Terror! Been a favorite for a while now.
AK: The theming of the park is probably my favorite part, but I'd pick Dinosaur if I had to. Preferably the "Countdown to Extinction" version.
DTD: Strolling DTD at night is one of my favorite parts of the trip.
Other: That first step off the plane into Orlando airport, knowing that you've finally made it!

How many times do any of you just sit and take it all in? I see people on every trip that are "Park Commandos". They hit the gates at 8am and are nearly hopping on their heels waiting to get in the gates. They look like horses in the shoots at the Kentucky Derby. And they're off!! They hit 1 attraction, 2 attractions, 3, 4, 5 attractions....Wow!! They've hit 'em all! And it's only Noon. And their kids will stop screaming and crying in a minute. And the wife only needs a few minutes to adjust the moleskin on her heels. Look out! Here they come again!

Exhausting isn't it? But they make me laugh. Sitting and relaxing while people fly by us is one of our favorite things to do. :)

Must do list... LOL

Inspired by MIKETFROMRI's thread.....

What is the one thing that you love to do when at a Disney property? This includes WDW, DL, DLP, etc.... It can be but it doesn't have to be an attraction either.

Mine:

MK:
It's a Small World - I love everything about the ride. :D
Sitting above the MS train station and relaxing and watching the people that are going commando into the park dragging screaming kids in tow. ;)

AK:
Sitting in the Dino-dig site while my son plays.
Expedition Everest - I don't care if the Yeti ever moves again or not. This is still an amazing ride.

DHS:
Star Tours - I have yet to ride v2.0 but I cannot wait to get on it. It was closed the last time we were there. :(
I love to sit outside of the Studio Catering Co. and people watch.

EPCOT:
Living with the Land - For some reason this ride seems to embody what it is to be Disney. Disney is a show and from being in theater most of my student life I can really appreciate the detail that went into the different scenes. It sort of takes me back.
Sitting near the EPCOT Fountain of Nations while closing my eyes and just listening to the music and water.

DTD:
Getting lunch from Earl of Sandwich and then renting a pontoon boat for an hour and going out on it to eat lunch.

WDW Property:
Miniature golf. We play every time we go to WDW. Usually the Winter-Summerland course. My wife loves the Santa stuff.

MK... Haunted Mansion
Its a small world
CoP
Buzz Light Year
All of the mountians over and over again
Country Bears
FOOD: Crystal Palace, Lunch, Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner, Plaza Cafe, for it's milk shakes
DHS: TOT
RnRC
GMR, and of course the "characters in the street"
Beauty and the Beast
The Muppet Show 3D
The Osborn LIGHATS>>> could stare at them for hours.
FOOD: Dinner 50's Prime time Diner, ( broasted chicken... the best) Lunch,SciFi Diner. Snack.. the Farmers market by ToT
Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest.( Don't care if the Yeti works)
Kilamanjaro Expediton
Kali River Rapids.
The animals.. all of them (bipedal and quadrapedal)
FOOD: Yak and Yeti. ( the desserts are too fantastic.. )
Epcot: Mission to Mars,
Soar'n
Test track
Imagination with Figment
The Cool Spot, (the Coke Place)
the Fountian of the World
The World Show Case (all of it) At Christmas with all the different ways Christmas is celebrated.
FOOD: England, Germany, Canada, Mexico, France ( in that order!!)
Sitting in the Italian Plaza area and people watching.
The Christmas Processional (every year)
Any experience at WDW is fantastic if you allow the real world to disappear for the length of your vacation and accept the "shift in reality" that is the magic of Disney.

Something I've come to love on our last two trips: Sitting on a bench in MK at park closing.(on the left side facing the castle, sort of in front of Crystal Palace) Watching all the people hustle to exit, watching the castle change colors, and then strolling out after the big crowds are gone..Ahh...

We're park commandos but our kids don't cry. As a matter of fact, they have more energy than I do. When we get back to the hotel they want to go swimming. Of course they're 11 and 10, so not young enough to have low energy levels. Although I will say that they did commando style in 08 on our first trip, and they were 8 and 7.

Oh, when I say commandos I mean the insane people dragging their kicking and screaming kids through the park as fast as they can regardless of how bad everyone wants to stop. :)

I havent had time to do this yet but our Trip Sept 2012 is without kids and this is what we plan to do. Once I get back this will be by far my most favorite thing to do.

For now its Dinner at Rose and Crown followed by RoE on the veranda.
