I can't remember the last time I got a beaver tail at WDW...it was probably in the World Showcase somewhere....maybe Canada or Norway?

Are they still around?

It was a piece of fried dough with cinnamon-sugar....

The place was called Trapper Bob's in Canada.

It shut down around 2004. The only thing that is similar is a churro which you can find in Mexico.

I know you can get Elephant Ears in the American Pavillion. Do they offer cinnamon/sugar as a topping? I know I see that a lot. Wouldn't that be similar?

I love beaver tails! Im lucky enough to be able to get them all summer long in Halifax....my favorite is the maple butter with choc. sauce!

If you can make a small detour to Port Orleans French Quarter, I (and many others) would highly recommend the beignets. They're puffy fried dough pieces that are completely smothered in powdered sugar. So good...

(I do miss the beaver tails too. But being from New England, I can get fried dough easily with just a short drive to the beach)
