Beaches & Cream Location

After reading many comments about the kitchen sink and seeing a picture of it, I shared that info with the family who immediately said, we must try this on our trip in September. I believe it's on the boardwalk, but not a 100%, can anybody shed light?

It's actually at the Beach Club Resort (across the lake from the Boardwalk)

Oh yeah! Make sure they know that it's facing the big pool but actually in the big main building. You don't have to go inside the building to get to it. I kept thinking that Hurricane Hannah's was it when we went looking for it in May. It was our 1st time walking around Beach Club and Yacht Club.

Thanks for the tip! Does anybody know their operating hours? We are thinking of heading there after Epcot closes at 9:00 PM on a Wednesday evening in September. Will we be able to catch a bus from the Beach Club to the TTC at say 10:00 PM?

You can also get there by boat if your feet are tired. Be forwarned, the seating capacity is extremely low 40-50 people max. I'd try to go late morning or early afternoon for best chances to minimize wait times. Also the Kitchen Sink is huge, 6 of us (4 adults 2 kids) could not even come close to finishing it and I'm over 6ft and over 300lbs.:slurp:

I've heard that rumor. There will be either 5 or 7 of us - if I can convince the in-laws to join us.

I am not sure on the operating hours but I think you are safe to be seated until 9:30 or so. I would call to just make sure. You can't catch a bus to the TTC though. You can either go the Magic Kingdom if it is still open or Downtown Disney to make any transfers.

That's right, I forgot that the TTC is not the main hub any longer - shows my age - LOL! Thanks for the tip. BTW, how late do buses run?

It is at the Beach and Yacht Club not Boardwalk ;). A bus driver told me about the kitchen sink (after coming back from DHS and we were right by the Dolphin which is near Beach and Yacht) it must be HUGE. I don't think my family could eat it. I just found out a kitchen sink is $21.99.

Buses run to Downtown (Pleasure Island) until 2A (it closes then, so the buses should run a little longer). Marketplace closes at 11P but all the buses Downtown hit both. Hop on one and depending on the time, your driver can tell you which stop you're heading for.

B&C is open 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

They have burgers and such if you want to eat "food" as well. You can get ice cream to go, but I don't think that includes the kitchen sink :)

It can get pretty crowded at night. Everybody who is staying at the BC/YC has the same idea; "Lets go get ice cream after EPCOT closes" :)

Yes, but with 7 people eating 1 kitchen sink - the cost isn't too bad then - you would spend the same on individual sundaes or ice creams but minus the fun of it! :)

Thanks for the info! It sounds like this is a workable activity for us to enjoy. :slurp:

Thanks for the dets, Dave! We will just have to beat all the other ice cream eaters with our spoons so we can eat our kitchen sink! :ROFLOL:
