Beach Club pool

I've got a quick question that I hope someone can help me with. My friends and I are staying at the Beach Club in July and we're really looking forward to some pool time. I've got a friend who lives in Orlando and we've planned on him being with us most of the time. I know you have to have a room key to get into the Yacht/Beach pool area, so would he be allowed in with us?

Not without a room key. And if the "bands" are in place by then for resort guests, it could be even harder to get him in.

You can ask for a "day" pass for him. My daughters boyfriend was given one last Saturday. But without something they will not let you in..... Except after 5:00 they no longer ask.
