I just snagged a ressie for October! I seriously don't know anyone that "gets it" and will be happy for me except you guys :joyfull: I don't even care if it might not be worth it. It's one of those things I feel like I have to do once!!! Probably a one and done but I'm gonna do it!!

Nice! We've done both lunch and dinner. I'm glad that I experienced dinner, and the atmosphere edges out lunch just a bit. If reservations ever become easier to get, I would do dinner again in the future; for now, I'm happy with lunch, and not stressing over reservations. I hope you enjoy it though!

We ate there for dinner last Nov. Loved it. The food was good. My kids were very impressed with the dessert cart. We were in the ballroom; although no matter which room you get, the theming is great. We will definitely try to get an ADR there for our next trip.

I know how you feel about getting the reservation; I was humming Be Our Guest for the rest of the day. My DH said I was a little too chipper for 6AM. You came to the right place to celebrate! Congrats!

I booked a room for July 4 weekend about 4 weeks ago. I'd been trying to snag a Fastpass lunch reservation for BOG for several weeks after booking my room. It never would become available for any of my dates through the special FP website. Then suddenly one day last week all the dates of my trip were available for booking (which I booked one). Go figure. The morale of the story as always...keep trying!

I want to try dinner just to say I went - but I am going to wait until my graduation trip if I can get an ADR. Do people dress up for dinner or do people wear the theme park attire?

On a side note - its funny how restaurants go through phases. Up until a few years ago the number 1 place to be was Le Celliar in Canada now I rarely see a post about people going there. It used to be this place was booked solid and we celebrated if we got an ADR.

Most people who were there the night we went were in theme park attire, as were we. It's hardly worth the time it takes to go back to the room and freshen up just to head back into the parks lol. Granted, I was wearing a sporty dress and DH was wearing a dry-fit polo style shirt and khaki shorts, so we weren't really underdressed either, but lots of people were in tank tops and denim, etc. It's really whatever you're comfortable in.

Makes sense. BTW what is the "grey stuff"? Is it a cupcake with icing or is it a type of icing on a plate? Is this only served during dinner?

The actual "grey stuff" is like a cookies and cream flavored mousse (almost the consistency of icing).

We got free samples of it since it was our anniversary ;)

During lunch, it comes on top of a chocolate cupcake... I think it's called the "Master's Cupcake." At dinner, it was available on top of some other chocolate desert... I think it was more of a chocolate shell filled with it, if I remember correctly. The cupcake may have been an option at dinner as well. They have several yummy desert options though :)

Nice :) If I make it to lunch (if I get the FP+ option) I will try it out. I really just want to see the inside of the restaurant so if I can do that in August I will be happy.

Isn't that SO true! I have stopped talking to my friends about WDW because every time I begin a sentence with, "This one time at WDW....." they make fun of me. We Disney nuts have to stick together!

I'm hoping to snag a ressie for next July. We've been to WDW 3 times since it opened, but haven't tried it yet. Congrats! Let us know how it is.

We ate there last year and had no trouble getting a reservation. However, I suspect that it was because we stayed 11 nights and I booked it for the 11th night. So in all likelihood, when I did my 180+10, there were few others who were also staying 11 nights and whose 11th night was going to be at BOG. I'm planning a 10 night stay next May, and I plan to book BOG again for our last night and I am hoping our luck will hold out from last year as well. Hopefully on my 180 day mark, there will be few people who are staying 10 nights, whose 10th evening will also be at BOG.

Food was warm like being kept under heat lamp. Maybe it was because we had first seating. We may just been there on an off day.
