My first trip to Disney this past April I was unprepared I never did any research and didn't booking any restaurants. Well for this April I plan on being prepared this time I'm starting to look at dinning options and was trying to figure out which room I should try to book at Be Our Guest any suggestions would be great.

I don't believe you can pick a specific room. I had trouble even getting an ADR. But when I did finally get in there was no option for a specific room.
Unless it has changed, you can't pick the room when making the reservation. You can ask when checking in, but they might not honor the request. We have had 100% success with special requests by making it clear to the host/hostess we are willing to wait for the request to be honored.

I don't think it matters...we ate in the West Wing and Great Ballroom both last December.

We've eaten in the west wing x2 and the main ballroom x1 and were able to move around and take photos in all the rooms each time. The atmosphere is amazing and you won't be disappointed no matter where you sit.

To some it does matter, others not so much. We were offered BOG for lunch on our FP+ on Aug. 21st. We were seated in the Great Ballroom. To us it looked more like a big upscale cafeteria. After we ate we "toured" the other two rooms and felt like second class citizens.

Yes, you can sit where you want at lunch. (Although maybe they escort you to a specific room if you use FP+ at lunch?)
We found the Ballroom very noisy and the West Wing way too dark...love the portrait gallery!
Excellent! Thanks!

Was it dark during lunch? Maybe the reason it doesn't matter which room on our end is we ate in the West Wing on the first night, Grand Ballroom the second. It was really nice both nights; food was on the par of Tony's...will go back, with no room preference, only when the crowds die down.....been there, done that.

The West Wing is very dark at lunch, which is the reason we opted not to sit there. We wanted to see our food and each other :geek:
