Be Our Guest Restaurant : Lunch

It is really neat inside, but I thought the food was just OK to tell you the truth. I'm glad we went, but we probably won't do it again.

My husband and I have been debating whether or not to do the "wait in line for five hours" thing just so we can mark it off our to do list. We keep waffling back and forth. Mmmmm...waffles. Maybe we should just eat at Sleepy Hallow.

Is it worth the wait?
If you have never been, you have to try it once.

We had dinner twice in December, and would agree with you! Food was fair, but certainly not great...comparable to Tony's as far as quality (not talking about menu choices) and consistency.
We look at BoG like Mission Space, once was enough, unless there is no wait.

Had lunch there in November not long after opening... A shortish wait of 15m. Food was rather good! I much enjoyed my Grilled Steak Sandwich. Drink refills were free, I think... They were still working out some kinks on connecting the food to the puck at the table (i.e. delivering your order). The theming of course, is incredible. From the entrance into the restaurant and even the individual rooms. The West Wing would be a good place to eat if you want some measure of quiet as it's smaller and rather dim; the ballroom is larger, brighter and louder.

That's too bad; it's done really well with decent food. Try to make it if you can. If there aren't people lined up on the bridge - you should be okay to (mostly) zip in. The queue inside isn't that long (and also entertaining) - maybe 20' or so long. It's just extremely popular right now because it's new. Hopefully things will quiet down a little as time goes on. If you can get a reservation, that's the way to go - you just have to do it faaaaar in advance, it fills up quick!

We got to have a peek last year and it was stunning but very noisy with diners. I'd love to eat there but tbh I think we won't wait. Probably head to Pinnochio Haus instead for a treat :)

We haven't eaten at Sleepy Hallow since 2011. Some how we managed to miss it entirely in 2012, even though I had those waffles on my mind. We are going in two weeks for a quick 4 day trip so our goal is to only eat at counter service places with "lower" crowds. Sleepy Hallow would definitely meet that criteria, plus the addition of the waffles=win. Be Our Guest will most likely be cut...at least for this particular trip. :)

I just don't think I have the patience to wait in line.:( My hubby wouldn't do it.:( We'll have to wait until next trip.:(
I agree on the hubby patience level. But mine is aware that I didn't trade out one of his favorite dinners for dinner at BOG (not sure he is aware how difficult it is to obtain), so I'm hoping he will be willing to suck it up and wait in line for lunch. If the line is too, too long, my own patience level might kick in....LOL.

I'm interested if there's a big difference between lunch and dinner. I know the menu is different - I'm talking more about the atmosphere, since dinner is table service. We get the DDP and I don't know if I want to use a table service credit or QS. Neither DH or I were too impressed with the dinner menu, but we're both curious what the inside looks like. Would like to hear from those who have done both lunch and dinner there.

Wow, we do think alike sometimes...I thought I was the only one who asked for and extra slathering of Nutella.
