Does anyone know where I can find a menu for the new "Be Our Guest" Restaraunt that is opening soon? I saw someone in another thread say something about seeing the menu, but there is no menu to be found on the "restaraunt menus" subforum here, nor on allears.net.

Thank you. In the other thread I referenced, there was some talk as to whether it would be a character dinner. Has that been decided yet?

its doubtful, it would be too confusing. its already confusing that it is quick service during the day and then for dinner, its table service. also the turn around time taken into considering it would be difficult.

I agree...this restaurant will be packed anyway...why would they need to add characters to the madhouse.

what they should do is have the actual inside restaurant be table service, and then have an area for quick service with some seating. that way they can accommodate more people

I have contemplated this for a while.... i actually think there is a solution to the character dining without being to horribly confusing....maybe the main ballroom is character dining that is a 2 credit meal , then the other rooms are just regular sit down dining one credit meals. It would give those of us looking for a character meet and greet the chance and those of looking for a regular dining the chance.
what could be really neat is making it kinda a gradual show the revolves 2 or 3 times a night... where belle comes out in her blue dress and beast in his torn robes. have a Be Our guest anamotronic song interlude. Then later they can come out dressed for the ballroom dance scene maybe put on a 3 min waltz around the tables. Then for the finale have beast come out as human with his bride belle. Thanking everyone for comming and kicking everyone out of the castle. It would be a great dinner show. so much could be done like a mrs. potts tea cart kinda like the ratatoulle thing in the french dining location.
costume changes would prolly be fairly simple and any fully dressed beast character needs to go back for breaks anyways .
Everything in the other rooms can just be regular
Now granted i doubt disney would do it but it would truly make for a magical expierence.

Holy chaos Batman. While it might be nice to have Belle, Beast et al doing character dining, I think segregating meals would cause many complaints. "What do you mean this half of the restaurant isn't characters? My little Suzy needs to see Belle now!"

It would kill table turnover. No one would want to leave until they saw all stages of any show. Unless they switched to timed seatings ALA Hoop De Doo Review. Which would in and of itself decrease turn over as you aren't using the tables during the switch over process.

Now doing AA's like Remy could definitely work. Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs Potts and Chip could all work this way, and that could be good. But from all accounts, for now it is just food, no show.

Or little Suzy would just leave her (non-character) table and "visit" the characters in the other room. You see it all the time at character meals where characters visit all tables, kids not realizing (or not caring) that the characters will come to their table at some point. Can you imagine if the characters were limited to one room and not others?

Menu actually sounds good and healthy. I hope the pomme frites are actually the french styled cut and not the shoe string or the crinkle cut. Add some malt vinegar or a side of mayo with my fries would be Epic!
