The "saw blade" on the robot arm has a target in the center, worth 100,000 points.

The volcano on the back wall (visible in two rooms) has a target also worth 100,000 points.

My highest score was 999,999... because the ride stopped and I kept pinging that volcano.

When the ride is moving, I'm lucky if I rack up over 220,000... but hey, I can blame my bifocals.

Highest I've gotten was 400,000 and now that's all I get. As hard as I try I can never get any higher :(, but at least I don't get lower scores! My brother on the other hand got 999,999 the first time he rode it and every time since :rolleyes:

I'm pretty sure that in the room right after the "underside of the claw for 100k", there is a target immediately to the lower right that is worth a GOOD amount of points. I got stuck in front of it and racked up a nice amount of points. Its in a "pit" with an eye or something that moves up or down in front of it. Makes good filler between the claw and the volcano :)

The best score/performance on Buzz Lightyear that i have ever seen was done by the girlfriend of WDWmagic member Popkid. She maxed out the score, nines all the way across the board. she did this half way through the ride. it never broke down or anything. THe whole thing is on video, available in #Disney-Central.

I'll get a screen cap if i can find one.

I usually rack up my high scores by repeatedly shooting the same targets instead of trying to shoot everything. I also go for the robots arm(worth 100,000)continuesly untill I'm out of range. I'll have to try the volcano next time I'm there.

I still think they should equip the ride vehicles in IASW with the blasters. It would make the ride soooooo much more enjoyable.:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :sohappy:

I think that Buuzz REALLY REALLY SUCKS (especially compared to MIB, which I think is great).

Buzz is geared to FAMILY style gaming.

MIB is geared towards Teens/Adults.

Buzz to me is a lot better because theres not a lot dark areas, strobe lights and a lot of super jerking around, true that a lot of the rides at Disney jerk you around but in this one, you have control of where you can turn and how long you can stay in that position, true its not a real challenge but still.

Not to mention its light years ahead of what used to be there. I remember "If you had wings" and Deltas "Dream Flight". Buzz blows them away! Gooo BUZZ!

Also with MIB, IIRC your score depends very much upon the other people in your vehicle, whereas Buzz, its mostly up to you. Then again.... alot of the guns on Buzz are just awful. I not sure about the consistency of the guns on MIB.
