Bathing suits in September?

Sorry about my multitude of questions. As I said, we've never been to disney and I'm trying to plan out our trip.

We're staying at POP and we have 2 little ones who love the water. Our trip is towards the end of September. Do they close the hotels pools on a certain date? Is it still warm enough to swim at that time?

TIA!

Typically, we don't get our break from the summer heat until early November. (Occasionally, if we're really lucky we'll get some cooler weather late October, but you can't count on it.) September is still very much summer weather here in Florida.

It's still quite hot in September. Even if it isn't, the pools are heated year-round.

They ARE??!?!?!!!

I'm soooo bringing our bathing suits.

Thanks for asking this question 'momarazzi'... I wouldn't have thought of bringing them!!!! Even tho when we went in October 07, it was still 'pool' weather!! :) Whooooo-hoooooooooo!!!

The water at the water parks is heated year-round as well. :D

Getting in and out can be chilly for non-Canadians...

I have swam at Pop in January. Some days it was 80 and some days 50 when I was there during that time. The water though, is the same temperature all year. Like the others said, you are going to be feeling the summer heat in September still. Don't expect anything in the remote area of cool.

Pools at The POP in September.

Bring you suits, the last time I stayed at the Pop, they didn't close the pools unless it was due to weather. though I didn't hit the pools while there due to time, dont remember seeing closed signs up unless it was due to bad weather.

Some of the most fun I have had was swimming in the middle of winter.

The water is warm enough that if the conditions are right (temp, wind, humidity) a "fog" will hang over the surface of the pool. I think its pretty cool to swim around in that.

and don't forget the waterparks, one of them is open year round. During the winter season one waterpark is closed for a period of time for maintenance (i.e. painting etc.), when it reopens the other one closes. This ensures that both parks are in ship shape when spring break season starts.
