A chore for you, right?
:lookaroun

So...seriously, what prompted this show? Just $tupid $ponsorship?

Better than Indonesian vodka, but still....

I guess everyone wanted to be a Barbie Girl in the 90's. Now everyone (or at least Disney hopes) wants to be a princess....

Although I can assure you I never had any desire to play the role of Ken.

I vaguely remember there being a Barbie parade somewhere in the mid-90s in the MK. Was I hallucinating? If it wasn't a parade I, at least, remember Barbie sitting on the back of a convertible waving to her peeps. Did this really happen or did I get a hold of a bad churro?

I am positive I am in the minority here but I absolutely adored the Barbie show in 1994. Then again, I was a Barbie obsessed 10 year old at the time. Watching the video makes me giggle though. That is the cheesiest and most ridiculous concept for a show ever. The pressure of sponsorship sure does have a strange impact on the creative powers-that-be sometimes.
And when I was an obsessed 8 year old I too enjoyed it....

Yea the one you drive under before parking.

Odd. I don't know the exact year it changed, but it sports the Epcot'94 Logo. By 2000, the park was using the EpCot logo, with the huge "C". I don't think they would have used the old one at that time.

Not sure, but I think they changed the EPCOT Center to Epcot'94 in 1994.

I dont know  I'm confused too. But I have a little project going on where I'm watching every home video of vacations my family has taken to Florida. It started in 1992, and now I'm all the way up to September 2007. But anyways, I remember driving into Epcot Center in 1999 and seeing it say Epcot Center. I think we taped us driving in in 1997 and 1998 too and it also said Epcot Center. When we went in 2000, on the tape as we were driving in, it just said Epcot, the same thing it says today. So I dont know when it officially changed, but going by the marque it was before the Millennium Celebration.
