I remember you saying that.

Why is it that I live in a metropolis like NY and we have NOTHING?! :veryconfu Nothing but a high cost of living and traffic!
No Olive Garden, no Cracker Barrel, no Bob Evans, no Chilis, no Texas Roadhouse,no Macaroni Grill, not even a darn Wal*Mart close by! And now, NO BAHAMA BREEZE!
They are building a Target 5 minutes from me, thankfully, and a Cheesecake Factory is FINALLY going to open right close by...but still. We dont even have a Walgreens![]()

Its positivly primitive in your neck of the woods!
Meet me at the Palisades and we'll do lunch at the Macaroni Grill, or Chilis or the Cheesecake Factory. (haven't been there yet...its always packed). The closest Cracker Barrell is in Fishkill or Mt. Holly in NJ (exit 5 on the NJ Turnpike).

We actually have to cross the TZ Bridge and go to Palisades for Target, Chilis, Macaroni Grill (just recently found out about the Cheesecake Factory there, although one will be opening up in 2 weeks right here in White Plains with the new FORTUNOFF!), DSW Shoes, Dave & Busters...oh, the list is endless  Closest Cracker Barrel is up in Milford, CT off I-95. About 45 minutes north of me...unless I-95 has traffic :lookaroun

You can enter at the front (ground floor) or the back (top floor). There are 4 stories plus the underground parking gararge. (never park in there). Its the one Rosie O'Donnell used to make fun of all the time...it seems to be sinking.
Its in Nyack, NY just over the Tappan Zee Bridge...on the NYS Thruway.

I always go in the back way...by the Legal Seafoods and the rest of the restaurants (where else? ) which is the top floor. I dont know what it is about that mall, but I dont get the usual "mall" feeling from it when Im there. They DO have a Kohr Bros custard stand there though (for all you NJ shore folks like me) but...I dunno. Maybe its the vastness of it.
I was home sick from work one day and had Rosie on and sure enough! She was at Palisades Center showing the cracks in the floor and declaring it the sinking mall. BUT...during construction of it, they actually blasted away a gigantic rock formation, so I doubt it was or is sinking
Oh, they have a Johnnie Rockets there too![]()

Dark, dirty and dangerous for women...many, many obstructed views. My husband won't park there if we are with him...once was enough. The kids almost got run over.

Im glad you dont like it either, Madaline! I was actually going to say I found the lot distasteful, but didnt want to offend anyone! Glad Im not alone in thinking its dark and dirty. At least at night above ground is pretty well lit.
Hmm..now Im craving fried shrimp from Legal!

I didn't care for the spicy pizza. Not only was it big and I don't like to waste food, but I ate all of it and felt terribly sick rushing back to Epcot to watch the fireworks that evening. If you have a weak stomach (like me) Bahama Breeze is not for you. The food is just too spicy for us wimps.
