Ah, I'm curious to see what Mallory, my 6 year old, will do someday when, not IF, when! she decides she is going to be a vegetarian. She's my big "aminal" lover, and very sensitive to boot, however, she's allergic to eggs, all nuts, and soy. Which would leave her with cheese for protein... lots of cheese... that is if she doesn't mind cows being milked for her benefit.

Well, she's only 6 now, so we'll see. According to her allergist, the only allergy she won't outgrow for sure is the nuts. Everything else should be ok eventually. :)

yep
ive been allergic to all nuts my whole life
it really doesnt even bother me (people are always like WHAAT you've never eaten a peanutbutter sandwhich) well you cant miss what you've never had
and
when it makes you as sick and possibly the ultimate sickness as it does for me...you just dont want to go through it

its the only food im alergic to...
and soy is in the same "family" as nuts so that would explain that...
i can eat things with soy in them as long as its far enough down the list...the other day i had some low carb alfredo sauce and it made me sooooo sick...the next day i looked at the ingredents and sure enough, the second ingredient was soy something
