Bacon, Bacon, Bacon

I don't remember where it was, but not Disney I'm sure, but we had....wait for it....chocolate covered bacon somewhere, and it was crazy good. Had some chocolate covered Ruffles chips as well. Now I'm starting to get a craving for something I can't have....darn diabetes.
I did have to try the new Chicken and Waffles flavored potato chips the other day. Not my favorite...and only had a taste, not the whole bag. Maybe bacon flavored chips should have been one of the new choices! Or chocolate covered bacon flavored chips...

Mmmm bacon.... Living in the midwest, and adjacent to a county that has proclaimed itself the Pork Capital of the World, I have to agree that WDW lacks in this catagory. I like huge thick almost chewy chunks of bacon. The kind that when I make a BLT the bacon is stacked about as thick as the slices of tomoato. If I had to pick a bacon destination I would say the best on site is probably at Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL. Just my dos centavos from here on the buckle of the bacon belt.

I like my bacon on the chewy side as well, as opposed to crisp. Any bacon I have had at WDW is very thin cut, lacking in smoke/cure, and is way more fat than meat.

Keeping bacon on a steam table kills it. Even if it was good to start out with.

Now that you mention it, the bacon down there really is pathetic. Thin lifeless strips of something. Maybe thats why I dont eat it there. they do have some good sausage though. Nice 8-1 links.

The sausage is much better than the soggy bacon. This conversation is making me want to make breakfast for dinner tonight. Omelet and some nice, thick, crispy bacon!

That reminds me of the Shrek movie...Evil Fairy Godmother "I need something deep, fried and covered in chocolate." I'm sure she meant bacon!

Bama, we grow good pork in our state. They probably put things in the bacon here that are ohhh so tasty, but ohhhh so gross.

I love bacon. We usually don't eat breakfast at many places but the bacon at the Pepper Market in CSR is good. Crystal Palace's is also good and so is Kona.

Kona Cafe Breakfast offers a side of ham, bacon or sausage with some of their breakfast plates. Bacon with Tonga Toast, yum!
