YES! And Disney's is thin and soggy. It puts a small hole in my early morning Disney spirit when I get that yucky bacon with my $30 breakfast buffet! But then, of course, I walk down Main Street USA and Disney spirit overflowing again!I have to agree with Bama14 the bacon at WDW is meh. I like my bacon thick cut and crispy.
You had me at Ba... Love Bacon but looking back I don't recall it offered too oftern at the World and when it was it was thinly cut and or greasy.Ok @Bama14 says she can't find good bacon on property. I don't eat the stuff so I don't know the answer and my sons have yet to grow taste buds. Here goes 1 I don't believe it and 2 HELP!!!!

thinly cut bacon is not what I consider bacon. I like the thick cut and crispy kind. My wife has a tray that cooks it in the microwave where it hangs vertically and the grease drips off of it leaving the bacon really crispy without loosing the flavor. The stuff in buffets is usually thin small greasy pieces offered by Disney.Every buffet has a huge try of the so called bacon wallowing in grease and the breakfast platters and bounty platters come with bacon as well as breakfast sandwiches they offer.
Hmmm,Juicy bacon wallowing in grease. Now that's what am talking about. All this healthy options will send you to your grave. When I was a kid,the jeelie piece was a thing of beauty, the grease would be running doon yer chops.Never done us a bit of harm.In fact it put hairs on where you shouldn't have any.Every buffet has a huge try of the so called bacon wallowing in grease and the breakfast platters and bounty platters come with bacon as well as breakfast sandwiches they offer.
Yeah cooking bacon in the oven on a cooling rack over a sheet pan is the way to go. As you say the grease drops off and the bacon crisps with burning like it can in a frying pan.thinly cut bacon is not what I consider bacon. I like the thick cut and crispy kind. Sorry I never thought about it but I have never had good bacon down there. As a matter of fact, I have not even tried it the last few times. I bet Raglan Road will have great bacon when it opens Sunday morning for breakfast!!
You are probably right about Raglan Road. Also HOB Sunday Brunch may be good. I have never eaten @ HOB.
I'm not really a bacon eater but I'm glad to see some love for the "missing link."Now that you mention it, the bacon down there really is pathetic. Thin lifeless strips of something. Maybe thats why I dont eat it there. they do have some good sausage though. Nice 8-1 links.
