Backyard Rollercoaster

This link was on our local newspaper website today. Some guy in Indiana built his own rollercoaster in his backyard.

that guy was on a tv show reciently, I thinkon the learning channel about rollercoasters. I think the seat was made out of an old car seat or seomthing. very cool!

Yup, I think your right, It was on Ripley's if it made it over the world's first homemade looping coaster, Its just a seat with a seatbelt i think... I can try to find u guys more info on this. Im asking my friend about it but i think he's busy.

yeah, I checked the monorail one out also. for the rollercoaster he used an old seat from a ford escort.

Thats awesome Jmarc!!! that would be pretty cool to go around your house and stuff in a homemade monorail! heck, the only thing i have is desk chair!

That does it, I'm building a log flume also. This is cool stuff, I use to dream about a Coaster in my back yard when I was little. The Monorail actually looks like a feasible project to build.

He could easily convert his monorail into flume that goes into his pool.

Roller Coaster n A Monorail. Wow!! thats sweet!!!.. I would make any rides.. but I dont know how LOL..

I saw this on the local news awhile ago. He is currently working on a second coaster that can be moved. His current one is now a permanent addition to the property as he welded all of the pieces together as opposed to nuts and bolts.

That sounds kinda cool, a transportable homemade coaster. I wonder if it will go to fairs... like Swarzkopf Galaxy's.
